+iluvkochikame Yeah, that was great :-) I wonder which part of the song he talks about :-) I hear some unpleasant sound around 14:50+ in the right channel.

+Katerina Konecna I'll explain. There's this little buzzing in the right channel. There's a process which name I've forgotten, but roughly it's literally "translating" musical pieces (notes, tones) into a "mental-visualisation". What I'm trying to say, is that Nicko used a violin bow (I think) and scrapped it against the gong and maybe some other drum parts to recreate the falling of the R101, literally bringing you a picture of it falling and crashing onto the ground through music. That buzzing you hear is the wind ripping the outer cover and the airship's downfall, and the loud cymbal drum is the airship crashing onto the ground. I hope I was understandable :D
EDIT: Bruce explains this and more on 1:50 and on.

It's unlikely anyone will ever read this, but here goes: This song impacted me on a deep, SPIRITUAL level. The idea of 48 hardened, experienced men, realizing their vessel is mortally wounded. Deciding to try and ride it out, against all odds... MAN that shit moves me. A fucking masterpiece. The fact it's based on a true story?! Words fail me. Bravo, Bruce. Bravo, Steve. Bravo Niko, Adrian, Dave and everyone else. And, ultimately, a personal salute to the crew of HMS R101. This is literally my FAVOURITE song.
