Jean can solo the Fatui operatives in 30 seconds with proper fall damage abuse (2CA, then hold E pointing down to slam them for one fall damage instance, then point back up and release to launch them for a second fall damage instance). It's like 200k-350k per slam on both of them at once and there's two instances per Hold E. So 400k-700k damage per E per target if done right
The hardest part is just getting it started since they can't be staggered by Jean CA while attacking and they move a lot, but once you get them once then they can both be consistently kept in a CC chain for the rest of the chamber, since they are staggerable while getting up
You can actually get 3 fall damage instances, one from slamming them down, one from launching them up into the abyss wall, one from them falling back down.
the sword of narzissenkreuz is also useful for the pneuma check bosses
You won't catch me dead using that thing but i guess it's a fine option, i just wish you could change between the two forms with a charged attack

IMO, the best part of these meta roundups is the tips about the various chambers ans enemies, like "focus the cryo archer and the 3 other guys will go to you" or "keep just a bit of shield on the pogo enemy while you do your setup for a bigger damage window", so I like this new format.

I really like this kind of shorter videos!
For the teams in the previous ones, I usually used the video chapters to read about the archetypes that interested me (the ones who worked the best, and if I didn't have them, the next best ones I did have).
But in those videos I am mostly interested in the tips you give about the enemies, the mechanics, and placements, so it works perfectly for me!

I feel like you could have explained how to dodge Coppelia's attacks (where to stand, when to dodge, in which direction) and depending on your team investment, it can be better to break the shield of the plunge boss early because the shield is still down for ≈ 20 secs which is enough for most rotations while breaking the shield at the right time will extend that to almost 30 secs but some teams can't really take advantage of the extra time that well and at this point, you are just extending the shield cycle duration which might mean that you only break the shield twice instead of 3 times in the time that you have left after the first half.
Breaking it at the right time and setting up before actually breaking it is still often a good idea though
And also I think that the format of this meta round up was better
he's talked about that before in other meta roundups

Also, I think this format is actually bettere than the long winded ones you usually do. If it's easier to make it as well then maybe it'll be easier to motivate yourself to do them earlier in the patch! 😂
9:45 side note, hitting the boss with 3 Pneuma attacks during a single Climax (the aggressive state, its also the state the boss starts with in abyss as mentioned in the video) will stun the boss for a bit and it will go its "less aggressive" state.

one thing for Lyney vs mech - it's quite easy to adjust your rotation so it'll take a moment before you'll apply pneuma to it. just use the first moments after breaking it's shield for set up (like Bennet's burst, Xiangling pyronado, Kazuha's swirls, etc) before doing charge attacks. This way you'll apply pneuma at the right time. Also i highly recommend Zhongli, since he's breaking it's shield rly fast (just use Q, hold E and one plunge) and because of the shield you can do charge shots even if the guy is attacking you. Also if you have him on fav even if he doesn't have high cr, he'll probably crit by then and proc fav's effects. I struggled with the first side, but the team with Benny, Xiangling, Zhongli and Lyney makes the secound part easy and fast

also for the mech - swords and claymores are good but i still i think Zhongli is the fastest to deal with mech's shield, since both his burst and hold E breaks it rly well (ofc if you're willing to sacrifice his burst dmg for that)
I do think that the meta round-up does a lot better with "These are the teams that *don't* work, and if your team isn't mentioned and isn't garbage, it probably works." since the number of team archetypes that work is so much higher than the number of team archetypes that just don't work.
Like this abyss you can say "freeze and spread teams kinda eh or bad this abyss," and you don't need to mention mono-geo being really good. More of a "what to avoid," when the amount to avoid is a lot smaller.
I just got to lvl 9 abyss last night. Don't have nuevi and kaz fully built (just got them with this banner) but those 2 skyrocketed my power. I can't wait to see how far I can go into 9 to 12. Now I just need Oz.

I tried a chevreuse + gaming team on the 2nd half and the PMA was not fun at all, had way too many close calls but it was the team with the best results at the end

I know cryo and anemo sucks against Coppelia, but Venti + Freeze hard carries chambers 1 and 2 SO HARD its worth using it. Of course, when it comes to Coppelia, Venti will fall off a cliff. Still, he'll be helping with VV (also the current blessing favors anemo).
I did Furina, Charlotte, Venti and Neuvi on 1st half, and it worked wonders.
Remember that you could use a Freeze team to take out Chamber 2 in a second run.
The mek has a shield phase... yes, I noticed lol. Went in with my furina/neuvillette team and half my team was dead before I figured out how to deal with the shield. In the overworld I just used my normal boss team (Zhongli, Kuki, Ayato, Nahida) and face tanked it. Hadn't ever bothered trying to beat it normally. But I wanted that team versus the icewind boss. Beat it with like 10 seconds left and no stars and had to go back to 3 star it. Did end up trying Dehya in place of Fischl though which I kind of liked.

i found sunfire neuvi to actually be somewhat comofrtable 12-1-1, alternating between fall dmg with jean and a neuvi ca was the fastest i could clear the fatui
I used Freeze on chamber 1 and it was so much easier than any other teams I've tried before.

Mister Zajef, I have 2 questions about info in this video. About fall damage, does it calculates based on how long enemies has been in the air rather then distance they actually fall? I feel that kind of dumb and really non intuitive then. And about Mek Shield breaking, specifically with swords. Is it better to spam low plunges but much quicker (for more collision damage) or slower high plunges only for bigger multiplier? I tried both numerous times and I still dont see which is better, it cant be the same effect, right? Also, didnt knew about Husks shielding themselves, I was mostly irritated by the geo waves they spawn.

Nilou Neuv is actually cracked this abyss for being a team that doesn’t use Kazuha or Furina.
I always appreciate Zajef content but I think that meta round ups should go out when the new abyss is out (or in 10 days) and not at the end.
I now have figured it all out by myself so the video is yes enjoyable but not so useful.
Anyway, looking forward to your other videos!
I cleared the first half with Wanderer double hydro on the first half (Wanderer/Faruzan/Xingqiu/Yelan) and on the second one I used aggravate Yae-Nahida feat. Zhongli (Yae/Fischl/Nahida/Zhongli)
The reason for using double hydro with Wanderer is that I like yeeting the fatui with his normal spam alongside Yelan's and Xingqiu's coordinated attacks. In the other hand, dodging is a must, especially with Coppelia (since he is shieldless).
As for the second half, I don't have much to say, since it's mostly an aggravate team and Zhongli's true job is breaking the shield of Enhancer Mek.

5:25 there is both pyro and dendro so u can burn yourself and pass it to enemies.
This is the best way to deal with them without changing your team around them.
Oh you're right... I did a few runs with Nilou teams, one or two with Yelan but most of them with my typical AoE team of Kokomi, Nahida and Collei. Most of the time this variant had trouble getting rid of the dendro specters, but on one occasion it felt like I deleted them almost as fast as the other specters and I couldn't quite make out why, I guess what you said probably happened, I got burned and passed it on to them somehow

I really thought i was the only one having a hard time fighting the fatui operatives because i can't she shite because of the skill effects 😭😭
What I hate about those operatives is not just that they are harder to see and move a lot, but that they also JUMP
so sometimes I'm hitting them and they jump, get staggering IN THE AIR and I started Juggling them and losing damage because of that 🤦♂️
Just juggle them to a reasonable height, and let them fall. The fall damage makes up for the reduced damage.
