persona is my favorite polka song!! it's so awesome how polka went from being "funny meme song" to jerod to one of his favorite hololive artists because of her crazy range. polka can do anything!
The cover is great and all, but I honestly respect him even more for somehow managing to keep up with the subtitles while playing the drums! The talent of this guy is crazy!
at first I was like: damn he's good if he can keep up with how crazy this song is
then I was like: wait he's not even focusing entirely on the song? he's not even using 100% of his power?
Gotta love how Polka keeps doing different takes about the same subject; the idol business. From complete bewilderment in Hologram Circus, to suicidal depression in Everblue, and now complete disgust in Persona. Disgust from the public, the faceless watcher, from herself, the liar beneath the mask, and ultimately disgust from the twisted circus she keeps performing.
And then for something totally different, Saikyotic Polka makes it an absolute lifesaver.

yessssss I've been wanting to hear Jerod react to this song! It's such an incredible song, I knew some of those drops would throw him off. Easily my fave Polka song and one of my fave Hololive songs, Polka's range is incredible!

How can he adapt with this song just only listening to it once ?
It's actually an old song, over a year old. It released in 2022 alongside Pastel Tea Time, but there was no MV for it until now.
@@cidddddey years of practice. This is what he does, hours per stream, a couple times a week. People request songs and he drums to it live.
@@cidddddey he's far from perfect, camellia often trips him up and it took 7 or 8 tries to get fubuki's kingworld perfectly, but like Ludecil said, he's got years of practice doing blind reacts. after a certain point most of the musical tropes become easy to predict, and jerod passed that point back a while ago.

This song sounds so different in the OG, i didn't expect for drums to change it so much (I heard the drum cover first)
