In this video we share on ride POV's from a variety of different rides at the park including Velocity, Mumbo Jumbo, Hero, Cliff Hanger and many more awesome attractions! Along with that we explore the Flamingo Land Zoo, share highlights from the pirate show and much more. We also check out the progress taking place on their new 10 Inversion Roller Coaster!

“Choo choo from the guys in front, nope still nothing” cracked me up. 🤣🤣
So sad to see the park in such a dire state! I would be so happy to see the looping group or even merlin take over this park, the gate figure is around 1.5 million which isn’t bad at all so they need to get it all sorted out! Merlin would be able to bring this park up-to scratch even if they retheme a few areas with IP it would be great!
Merlin really aren't much better when it comes to upkeep of their parks.
@@christtototottottott I do agree but they are better, All the merlin parks have had paint ups and have been re freshed this year and they look nice.
It's getting done by next season there normally do maintenance work when parks closed in winter pandemic caused calendar build up workmen up and left begaining this year
Flamingo Land is such an odd park, it has the potential to be one of best all round theme parks in the UK but it is far from that !! Always has an odd feeling to the place, almost like an cheap version of a Six Flags park, such a shame but at least it’s open and does have some of the best coasters in the UK and the Zoo is great
The park needs an overhaul and we have all said for years that a family wooden coaster would be amazing for this park and an on site hotel to go along with the caravan site
The problem is for coaster enthusiasts is FL put as much money into the zoo as they do the Theme Park... Its nore a 50/50 theme park and zoo rather than an all out theme park.
@@flaw3dgenius222 Doesn't excuse the general cleanliness, upkeep and poor operations of the park unfortunately. Un used abandoned areas should be kept clean this is basic level irrespective of available funds.

It's has work schedule every winter 😑everything gets done for April season this year we all in lockdown Xmas staff could've get into work from Cleveland to go into North Yorkshire then intermin work force couldn't get work finished for new coaster because there couldn't get into uk because pandemic so flamingo land organised it for this winter park closed by 2022 season everything be improved
Kevin Anderson yeah it opened for about a hour yesterday so I was lucky to get on but it hasn’t had a test yet

Splash battles guns didn't work when I went in 2018, I spoke to the ride operator about it and he said that it's funny to see peoples reactions when they can't fight back 🤣

Flamingo land to me looks like a park that's run out of money, I wouldn't be surprised if it closes before you see that new ride, maybe someone will save the park but I can't say it looks like the future is a good one.

Its gone through quite a few different owners i think in the past, ive been going mostly every weekend/ holiday for nearly 15 years and i still absolutely love going
Iknow why it looks as it is and those comments false been in same family for years and well off flamingo land 2 was going to be built in Scarborough but people hated it locally
Government help them out
1 this year calendar as not done flamingo land any favours every winter when locally weather bad for tourist park goes shutdown apart from caravan and zoo theme park shuts all maintenance coasters building work was getting done then intermin couldn't get into uk finish work 2nd lockdown stopped everything staff couldn't go from Cleveland to North Yorkshire without fines or police stopping vehicles staffing been nightmare most part time
What I've heard that local news stated winter this year everything getting done whilst parks closed new rides be open kumali was getting maintenance thats been holded up
Flamingo land is generally run well but tbh people need understand that things get done in winter months that totally carnt happen during peak season
Nope fact that park hadn't had time during pandemic all maintenance team couldn't get into North Yorkshire during winter when everything gets fixed and new rides are built new rollercoasters be completed next season 2022
@@amandastapleton4395 nah it’s been in the gibb family 4 years they also put a bit of money in to scarbourgh football club new stadium and that and also baught land down on the seafront in scarbourgh so I highly doubt they are skint
I live 8 miles from flamingo land. Haven’t been for years! When I was a kid I used to go all the time with my family for a holiday. It’s not as good today as it was back then, a lot of the classic rides and attractions are gone. Billy bobs rockafire explosion show, the wave. The bullet, magnum force, thunder mountain, corkscrew, wild mouse. Good memories :)

Omg shawn, we live in Ilkeston where the American adventure used to be ! Its now all being built on , but the lake still remains there . We go walking down there and would look out for the car park sign that wasn't took down for ages ;) igt was the last part of the park that remained ...
I don't say this about many parks ever, but I honestly think this place would be better off sold to Merlin.

I’ve just returned from a week away at Flamingo Land. I can confirm, Kumali and The Long River Ride were open and running however Flip Flop still wasn’t which was gutting as it’s a great ride! :)

Always loved the looks of Mumbo Jumbo would love to get up and ride it one day! Does always surprise me that more parks in the UK haven't got this model! It hardly takes up any space and looks so impressive off ride!

Thank you for keeping us updated with the 10 looping coaster, Flamingoland has huge potential their 10 looped coaster investment has stretched their budgets at the same time they've done an amazing job with animals enclosures being maintained that looks emaculate

Aw can't believe Flip-Flop is up for sale, I remember when it first opened and how excited I was to ride it for the first time, one of my favourite flat rides :( it will be missed

You get the feeling the investment in the ten inversion coaster really was a stretch for them and they likely needed a return from the originally planned 2020 season opening. Hopefully it does get opened in 2022, then it would be smart to be investing the budget for the year into renovations and improvements of what's currently there rather than any further expansion.

I was so looking forward to brining my youngest to this park as 3 years ago I had a great time . Looking on website so many rides gone or not open which is a shame as it was a lovely place to come & the zoo really made it too .
When I went all rides were open except the water ride and leaping frog. So the comments are over exaggerated or unlucky.

Everything was open on Monday when I went, had a great day although I’m shocked at how rough Mumbo Jumbo has become, it wasn’t like that 2-3 years ago.

It was nice to meet you here this week. You'd picked a quiet day when I saw you there. I've been 5 times in two weeks and most days have been incredibly busy. 12000 in the park one day according to a member of staff.

I went to Thorpe park 2 days ago, I thought it would be quiet since half term finished but no, very busy! So I do agree that theme parks are unusually busy at the moment. Not helped by the empty seat COVID precautions and some slow operations (excluding stealth which was very quick). Still a great day!

I went yesterday, it is not open yet but velocity had really good views of the coaster. Kamali was pretty good and mumbo jumbo was amazing! My favourite (in my opinion) was velocity!
I have a 3 year old and a 8 year I’ve booked tickets to go next week, but after watching this I feel like I’ve waisted my money. Do you think it’s worth it. I hope my kids will like it

I got to experience the longer cycle on cliff hanger last summer 😀😀though sadly it broke down on the second day then opened with a unique cycle where it only ran the second half of the longer cycle

Flamingo land would probably be just good for a day visit but it was amazing when I stayed they’re because it is a proper resort it’s amazing when you stay they’re honestly

Since I am 8 I find it quite comfy on hero I went on it yesterday and it was my first looped a looped ROLLERCOASTER
I take it back after going on it on my bday
Just me making a few casual cameos throughout the vlog (I was doing duel operation on the teacups and pink elephants and because I had a fairly busy day I didn't have time to check my phone so I was a bit like 'I swear that was Shawn' when I saw him on Velocity when the pink elephants were quiet. Again gutted I didn't have time to say hi to you guys but I'm glad you had a good day.
