I hope you love my ideas! The gold foil paper is my absolute favorite. You can get it from any craft store, cut it to size, stick it on, and bam! Thinking about adding wooden animals on the front of the clear bins too. What do you think?
omg please add wooden animals ! maybe you could use double sided tape so then when he grows out of the little animals it can just be taken off with goo gone (:
Alexandra Beuter i love how the baby room turned out. you and ur husband did a beautiful job. i wanted to suggest maybe you can do a mom and baby hospital bag checklist video if u haven’t done one already. i know it might be a little early for it but you can never go wrong for preparing early and making sure all the things you and baby Beuter needs. just a suggestion. love n always enjoy watching you me baby. looking forward to see more video and can’t wait to meet baby boy Beuter. much love to you and ur family...😘😘😘
Alexandra Beuter check out @babybykyra on Instagram for an awesome baby blanket😍😍😍
Hi I recommend instead of a car seat canopy a product from milk snob you won’t regret it
Love the gold foil! What did you use to stick it on?
A tip I’ve learned is if you store your wipes upside down it makes sure the top wipe is completely saturated opposed to the bottom wipes.
Thank you! 🤗🌸💕
😲 I've been a mom for 3.5 years and I've never done that lol thank you!!!
Hannah E that’s genius!!
I do that too and then when I reach the last one it’s not as wet also 😊
Hi
I'm 35 weeks pregnant and had a mini meltdown this morning because I don't feel organized yet and I feel lost. I'm a first time mom and this helped me significantly! Thank you so much!
I personally recommend adding his onesies and pajamas in the second drawer.
Completely agree! Was coming to comment this. Lol
Thanks guys! 🤗🌸💕
I agree. Having raised 5 kids, I know found it important it to have those everyday basics right there at hand, grabbable while still keeping a hand on baby. :-)
zaira gonzalez i was going to comment that lol you need easy access to his most used items.
I agree you’re going to run through them like crazy, they get dirty every 5 seconds lol. In the closet I would keep sets and more dressy clothes that’s what I do with my son. And after he’s here you will figure out what works for you and your family
“Please consider subscribing if you’re new, I would love to have you”
That was the nicest way to ask someone to subscribe, I most certainly will 🥺
In my experience, I’d keep his socks/pants/onesies in the drawers from his changing table, because it’s so much more convenient for when you’re changing him. Sometimes you need sudden outfit changes that will happen while you’re changing his diaper, so going all the way to the closet while he’s on the table is not ideal. I use the closet for dressier type of clothing. Polo shirts, buttoned shirts, dressy pants, jackets, sweaters, etc. But onesies, pajamas, joggers type of pants, etc, in the drawers!
Ade S yes!! I’m pregnant as well and I did exactly how u suggested. All her little dressier outfits r hung up. Onesies. Pjs and pants r folded up and in her dresser. 🙌🏽
I agree, so much more convenient, and easy!
Could not agree more, there should be clothes in those drawers as well.
I'm only 13, but I'm an early planner, where would you suggest that the smaller items go, like headband, or socks, bottles, ect?
Glory Hampton I have a headband organizer that hangs on the wall, socks in a little mesh bag in the top drawer of the dresser. Bottles I have in the kitchen so far, a designated shelf for baby items there.
Pregnancy hormones made me cry as soon as I saw the overalls you're wearing. You are the cutest little pregnant woman oml I can't wait
Advice I was given was to go ahead and get “medicine” items like Tylenol, gas drops and gripe water before the baby even comes so it’s on hand and your not having to run to the store to grab those things later. I was really glad I did that ahead of time, especially the gas drops! LOVE how everything is looking! Getting some serious inspiration for baby #2!
Thank you so much! 🤗🌸💕
These comments are saving my life right now!! I’m 10 weeks away from meeting baby girl & wow your tips and hacks are going to make my organization process easier!! Thanks guys 🎉♥️
Something I loved having with my first born and have ready for my second baby is a small basket in the living room with essentials.
So burp cloth, bib, pacifier, mittens, extra pair of socks, thin blanket etc.
You wont want to go to his room every single time you need little things like that while you snuggle on the couch so it's so convenient to have it right there!
One of my good friends doubled up on the sheets. So she put a waterproof cover, the sheet, then another waterproof cover, and another sheet. So when your baby has a massive accident at 3am, you’re not trying to find new sheets and mattress covers, you just have to take the top ones off and a clean one is underneath
Whoa this is 3019 level 🤗🌸💕
ASHLEY CASHNER this is genius!
Montana Hoover right?! When my friend told me about it, I literally sat there like ‘why didn’t I think of that?!’ Haha
Alexandra Beuter oh, not sure if anyone has told you this, but you know the shoulder folds on onesies? Those fold down so if your baby has a blowout you don’t have to pull the soiled onesie over his head, it’s just rolls down his body!
This is genious! I can think of many times I would of used this with my twins.
This looks so organized and beautiful! Great job ❤️ Mommy tip: put a second fitted sheet on the bottom of the mattress that way when he spits up or anything you can pull the soiled one off and simply flip the mattress to a fresh made bed for him instead of digging out and sheet and making his bed in delirium😅 When you’re exhausted, it’s the little things 😉
Love it. I think you should put sleepers and onesies in the 2nd drawer of the dresser in case he has an explosion they will be right there for you
I noticed the side of crib is clear. I've never seen one like that before. It's beautiful! You did a great job decorating your baby's room!😍
When I was a new mom, baby sizes confused me. My aunt gave me a tip, when it say 3m it can range from 0-3M and 6M is 3-6M and so on. Just a little hack for you. Everything is sooo adorable, congratulations
Oh, lord, what I would have given to have a normal sized baby. My youngest is 6 and wears a 9-10 year size. I think 0-3 was maybe a week or two, and I don't even think he wore everything once.
This was so cute to watch and brought back so many memories. My oldest is 20 and 6'4" now.
Second drawer maybe you can put baby daily use clothing so that you can easy to grab it
I don’t have a baby or plan on having one but I enjoy watching your videos so much! Love all of your cleaning and organizing videos.
Thanks girl so happy to have you! 🤗🌸💕
Love your baby boys nursery! I’m a momma to two girls - 4 yo and 3 months. Looks like you’re pretty covered on all the essentials! The only suggestions I have - from personal experience - is to have PLENTY of sleepers and burp clothes. My daughters basically lived in sleepers the first couple months, and they went/go through burp clothes quickly with all the spit up and drool. Also, gas drops, also called gripe water, will come in handy those first couple months. You give that to him every feeding to help with gas. Our pediatrician said there’s no way to avoid the grassiness/fussiness those first couple months. Babies tummies are experiencing something so new and they just have to get used to it. So don’t fret if he’s fussing a lot some days! Remember you’re a great momma and it’s just all new to both of you. Best wishes for your growing family ❤️
Thank you so much! Appreciate your tips! 🤗🌸💕
pacifier wipes were a must have for us! it made me feel better about giving my daughter her paci back if it fell on the floor or something. also good for teething toys in a pinch 🙂
I recommend getting mommy’s bliss gripe water. I don’t remember seeing it anywhere in your video. It helped a lot with my little when we had to switch him to formula. Also lots and lots of burp cloths and onesies. (They go through them like crazy)😅
Gripe works wonder for hiccups. And the have the pacificer med applicator so u can put in there.works wonder i use it .
im currently 35 weeks and 3 days and you have inspired me so much! cant wait for your hospital bag video! you're going to be an amazing mommy!
Thank you so much! Congratulations to you too!!! 🤗🌸💕
I remember nursery nesting and organization, my boy is 16 yrs now, love watching this!
Get the book Baby Wise. My granddaughter never cries unless you are bothering her 😂 my daughter has her on a schedule so never cries to be fed or changed or put down for a nap because it’s like clockwork. She cried for a few days when my daughter learned that the baby didn’t like dairy so my daughter removed dairy from her diet (she nurses) and since then no sleepness nights from crying. Also get the Owl sock. Peace of mind.
I’m only 21 but I’m definitely using this for when I’m ready to have a baby.
Miss_christie1217 It’s so great to prepare!!
I'm 21 and 7 months now!
You should put his sleepers and onesies in the second drawer! Sometime in the middle of the night or even during the day he’ll likely make a big mess from his diaper and it’s gonna be a big help having his fresh, clean jammies right at hand at 3 am lol 💓
Very cute!
A suggestion that I have is to place the onesies, pjs, socks, and gloves in the top drawer of his changing table. It will make it much easier to have those items super handy when you wake up several times a night to change him.
Everything looks great but, I would recommended to get a lot more burp cloths. I use those a ton and found myself washing those daily because I didn’t have enough.
Good suggestion! Definitely another must have. I found I had to use one with pretty much every feeding. 🍼
Yes! I used receiving blankets as burp cloths way more than I used actual burp clothes though. Either way you go thru them fast! So extras is a must.
Even after you stop using them for feedings they help a lot for boogies when sick. It doesn’t burn or scratch their nose like tissue would.
Yes agreed u need MANY burp clothes or just any random cloths to wipe spit ups etc
Isabelle Owston the ones that are random that I would use as burp cloths were at target the gerber cloth diapers lol and they were amazing
It looks so great, I love it! Cant wait to see the full nursery tour 😊 and you are glowing, cant wait to see the baby!!
Go ahead and put a few sleepers and onesies in the second drawer for easier access when you're changing him!! You can't really walk away from him when he's on the table (especially when he starts rolling over) so you'll need to have the clothes closer to you and more accessable vs having them in the closet!
One thing I swear by are little baby nail buffers. They have little pads that you put on (different strengths for different ages) and it's SO much easier than trying to clip their little nails with nail clippers. I have two little boys and used it. with both :)
You're so well-prepared! I always preferred changing diapers with my babies' feet facing me. But everybody has their own style. Just bear in mind that that's an option if you find sideways changing difficult. I love your fresh, positive energy! You are ready! ❤
I agree.. forward changing is the most convenient vs sideways
Totally agree on the feet facing changing. We never used a changing table. We found them to be kind of pointless.
I think sideways may be to prevent being peed on hahaha
Love your nursery! And you make a beautiful pregnant mama. :) having three girls and one boy as my last, my best advice is to be prepared for the constant peeing water fountain. Boys can squirt often in the middle of a diaper change so you’ll learn to be fast or else go through multiple outfit changes for your little boy and yourself. It helps to put a diaper ready to go under the dirty diaper, straps pulled out and everything before you open the diaper. Have a change of clothes nearby or easily accessible so you don’t have to scramble. Use as little wipes as possible so you don’t get diaper rashes but if he does have one, Triple Paste is my favorite. Best wishes!
I would just suggest putting the sleepers in the second drawer and only do zips no buttons ( you will thank me later) 🤣 but everything looks amazing and remember anything you want you do! You will learn what’s works for you and what doesn’t! But congratulations I already know he going to be so perfect and really cute! Wait til you see his little face 😍😍😍
Love this! It’s making me so excited but anxious! I’m due in 7 weeks and we move in into our new house in 9 days! I still have to do ALL of this!
See girl! This is exactly why I told you I couldn’t wait until you were pregnant! Our organization style is absolutely the same and I just love how you take care of your home. Gorgeous!!!!!
Hey girl! Everything looks so well and organized! It's so impressive! I especially love the acrylic panels on the crib. It's so different and CUTE!!!!!!! Can't wait for the detailed tour and details on everything in the nursery! :-)
I'm not a mom yet lol but you're giving me great ideas for when my time comes! Everything looks great!
Thank you! 🤗🌸💕
Keep a washcloth In that top drawer of his changing station. We used to call it the "emergency washcloth." 😄 Use it to cover him when you're changing him, and he won't pee all over you or the wall. 😆 Beautiful nursery!!
Awe this was so cute I didn’t see a grooming kit with like a hairbrush nail clippers and laundry baskets. I also used a ton of receiving blankets/burp cloths. And make sure you dress him up everyday and take pics because they grow out of their clothes fast. I think you are all set. I’m so excited and can’t wait to see him!!
Such a cute room!! I’m actually doing up the nursery for my little girl right as I’m watching this! Love your decor and how you’ve organized everything!! Xx
I’m 33 weeks tomorrow and having a boy also! This is my second.
For the clothing, typically 0-3 and 3 month are the same. Then 3-6 and 6 month would be the same and so on. And I agree with everyone saying to keep onesies and PJs in the drawer.
One thing I didn’t see is a sound machine. My sons almost 3 and still has one playing every time he goes to bed. It’s a huge help with getting them to sleep and not be disturbed by other noises around the house. Plus that way if you’re travelling you can bring the sound machine and it makes them feel more comfortable sleeping somewhere strange.
Mikaela St Louis yes, we use a fan still as our sound machine for our 3 year old. He loves it.
Just a suggestion maybe you can put the burpcloths and swaddles in the second drawer to have them closer to you and maybe pjs too 💙
You’re such an adorable new mom! I love how careful you are. I’d recommend putting his onesies in the dresser and buying a few more bibs and cloths because babies are sooo messy lol and I would always run out. Also sometimes babies get cradle cap or something like that where their scalp gets really dry so baby oil and aquaphor are must haves in my opinion. And don’t forget baby sunscreen. This is so long but one more thing to keep in mind is that he could possibly have eczema or really sensitive skin so I’d stay away from overly fragrant products and laundry soaps. Good luck
I love that wallpaper, it looks awesome with the bottom paneling. You both shoud go into the flipping/designer business.
This was so helpful. We are so close in pregnancy and I am about to organize our nursery as well!
omg obsessed with his nursery..just amazing.
I found that having onesies and pjs under the changing table more convenient during diaper changes or a bath. Also, I would highly recommend a wipe warmer especially in the winter. 💗
Lara Grigorian do you know of any wipe warmers that shut off automatically after a certain time? (Mom to be btw... currently 32 weeks pregnant with my 1st)
Congratulations! I honestly don’t think I’ve seen any. I think that would kind of defeat the purpose though, because your wipes wouldn’t be warm whenever you needed to use them during the middle of the night diaper change. Good luck!
I love this video such good organization tips an I didn’t know dreft had all purpose wipes on my check list now 🎉🎉🎉🎉💞
Everything looks great! I was glad you mentioned how the sizes vary so much- I was surprised by this as well. I probably need to go through everything and sort again by eyeball rather than what the tag says! The nesting struggle is real lol
This is so cute!! I’m taking some of these ideas for my son’s room! recommend getting a rectal thermometer! They’re more accurate, especially for the little ones!
31 weeks pregnant so this video was super good for me
I love it!! FOR HIS SOCKS I think you should get a tray that has squares similar to the ones ikea has that are for drawers
For the second drawer, under the diapers, etc. you could put burp cloths, swaddles, extra onesies (ones he will wear all the time just at home or in the middle of the night if he spits up!) I know you have that stuff in the closet, but it’s always good to have them right there when changing him in case you do need a cloth or another onesie so you don’t have to run to the closet & grab one! It will also leave extra room in the closet for things you guys may need once he is born that you may not have yet or think you need yet! I love your videos and you motivate me to clean and organize everything in my house! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy 💙💙
Thank you so much! 🤗🌸💕
The nursery is looking amazing. A wipe warmer is a nice addition as it takes the chill off wipes and the cold is really shocking when you clean them when they're first born. Size 0 to 3 and 3 months are the same, 3 to 6 and 6 months are the same. Socks are only great when they're older as they fall off all the time so 1 piece outfits with feet are awesome in the beginning, especially around the house. I loved the brand "grow with me" sold at Walmart. They always stayed on my daughters feet and they stretch to grow as your child's feet grow so they last longer too. Hope those tips are helpful!
I love his room set up 🥺. I’ve never seen a crib like that before I love it
I also have that dresser in gray, with the same Hatch changing pad..can you believe I scored mine on clearance @Target for $60..I also painted my knobs on the dresser gold. Your setup is nice!!!
Awww I love it! What a darling set up! I don’t think you need a bed set for the crib. Just any crib sheets and blankets that you like for your baby is fine!
Also, I love how you have everything set up but once’s he gets here, you might need to rearrange. I like to have everything in arms reach for the sake of not keeping baby waiting (all babies are different and my baby doesn’t like to wait toooo long on the changing table) so long to gather everything baby needs! I’d keep the pjs/onesie/play clothes in the dresser and all outing outfits in the closet but all babies are different, your may be calm since you’re always so calm. 😊
Maybe more bibs! I haven’t seen anything for bath time yet but I do recommend the blooming bath lotus, it’s on amazon! Or something similar to the bath lotus for newborn then switch to a baby bath tub.
We use Earth mama and Babyganics for the shampoo and body soap. Great products! Hope this helps you!!💗
Such a beautiful nursery, can't wait to see more! I recommend a wipe warmer if you don't have one already. And if you plan on using a sound machine and/or night light, I HIGHLY recommend the Hatch Baby Rest sound machine. You can control it with your phone, and it is very customizable. There are a lot of different sounds and light colors, and you can also set programs so it will turn on and off at specific times. By far my favorite baby product, it's been a such a blessing for our little one!
Great job girl!! You’re going to be an excellent mom. Ready to tackle this task. Be ready to be AMAZED at your strength and your heart!
Baby’s room turned out so adorable! Love it💕
I’m only two months pregnant and I’m so excited but I’m so scared but I love watching your videos because they make me prepared and so reassured!! 💕💕💕 I can’t wait to do mom blogs like you
Also one of the things that completely not necessary but one of my favorite purchases was a shopping cart cover. The baby can use it once they are able to sit up right on their own. Super cozy and great for long target trips. :)
Gripe water was a life saver for the first two months! It is the only drops that helped with his tummy. You are an amazing mom!
Thank you Bailey! 🤗🌸💕
How exciting i can't wait to meet your baby ❤ you're going to be an amazing mommy
Everything looks amazing!!! I haven’t bought anything yet I’m 33 weeks and I don’t know what I’m waiting for lol
Empty drawer: extra outfits (onsies, sleepers, etc.) For quick outfit changes when accidents happen and youre in a rush and or dont want to leave him on the tablr unattended to go get an outfit from the closet.
Your nursery looked alot like my first sons, like placement of crib, changing table,, even layout of the closet with the hanging organizer,,,tripped me out a lil watching it. Lol took me back..way back hes 13 now...lol
Congrats!
Love it! super cute!!! 😍Im in the works for making my toddlers nursery a little bit more grown up for him 😭🥺 they grow up so fast!
So excited for you! I have a 6yo and a 5 month old. Being in a multi story house. I keep changing stations around the house. For the living room I use a drawer in my end table. I keep diapers, wipes, change of clothes, hand sanitizer and diaper cream at my stations. Honestly I love the paci wipes, I keep them in the diaper bag. Lol. I recommend gripe water and gas drops if you don't have any. My favorite gripe water brand is Mommy's Bliss. As others have said put some clothes in the dresser. When they have a blow out, you don't want to have to worry about trying to get to closet while they are laying on the changing table. I swear by sound machines!.. Some things you'll learn is preference. Things I love others find unnecessary, and vice versa. Don't stress too much and enjoy the time as it goes by so fast! I also used got these swaddles from Amazon, loved them more than any brand I've ever used. Just know that not all babies like swaddling. My 1st hated it after a couple weeks, my 2nd loved it! www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GKA4MTE/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_track_package_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hope that's not wayyy too much info haha!
Fun! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly! Also you were asking about products we swear by; I LOVED the Ollie swaddle with my daughter. She slept amazingly in it.
Love, love, love your nursery!! I recently found out I'm having my first baby as well ☺️ I'm about 11 weeks along now, my first ultrasound is next week. I can't wait!! Full baby mode haha 🥰
I've been obesessed with watching Nursery Organization videos and yours was by far my favorite. I LOVE how the closet is color organized and the crib is just too cute. GREAT JOB!! I love your channel.
New subscriber. Loved the video and how you link EVERYTHING in the description bar. I’m currently 22 weeks and will be doing this when I set up my nursery. Very helpful video 😌
We have the same crib! We LOVE it. We put up acrylic floating shelves for the books. Definitely getting the bins for the closet! I've been searching high and low for acrylic drawer containers for clothes. Impossible to find.
Definitely agree with the other comments, take your onesies and pyjamas to your drawers.
Very useful as well: keep an empty box for clothes that will become too small, so that you can just « throw » small clothes as you find them, and eventually also add things your baby didn’t have time to wear and that are too small. When the box is full, put a tag on it and store it away.
Congratulations on this gorgeous nursery!
Something about your voice just helps me when I'm having a stressful day and I love to watch a video to make me calm and to help me organize as well thanks for your content I love it and all your ideas are amazing
Thank you so much 🤗🌸💕
Yes 3M is actually 0-3 months. I know its really confusing but you did a great job i love it 😁😍 literally pretty much how i did my organization. I also hanged up my sons onesies and pajamas the way you did and found it WAY easier to use up the clothes rather than folding and trying to find things and then sometimes not even using them before they outgrow it.
I love it 💗 The closet layout is identical to my now two year olds. As soon as she was mobile and could reach the first couple of cubbies, her favorite thing to do was to pull everything out 😫😂 She did stop. After some time 💗😂
Everything looks amazing
The nursery is absolutely beautiful. I love the hot air balloons! I’m pregnant with my third boy. My only advice to you is get more burp cloths in case your baby spits up a lot. I didn’t have many with my first and regretted it. The gerber diaper ones are the best in my opinion. 💙
I’ve got 2 toddlers and this video is making me want to organize their clothes lol burp cloths for sure are a must!
It looks so cute!! I would recommend adding even just a small basket to store diapers on top of the changing table so they are easy to grab when changing time comes, and same with a pack of wipes! I also don’t know if I missed it but if you don’t have any, sleep sacks are so helpful! You will be a great mamma!
I'm a mama of 3 and I'm so excited to see how you organize all his stuff the bigger he gets and the things you buy to organize it oh my gosh you inspire my life ❤
Awe thank you! 🤗🌸💕
Paci wipes aren’t a waste- they are such a must have for us!!
Wow...you guys live like royalty! Lucky baby!
Maybe you could put a couple of outfits in the middle drawer of the dresser so if babe has a blow out poop or if you have to change him in the middle of the night, you have something right there. :) One item I used quite often were those infant saline drops for stuffy nose and colds.
Thank you! 🤗🌸💕
Hi Alexandra! Thank you for sharing how you are organizing your nursery! Great job! BTW I love when boys wear Uggs...so cute!❤️
Hi. Congrats 🎉!! I would do the second dresser draw with all his bath essential
The nursery looks great! I am a new subscriber. Just discovered your channel and have been binge watching :) I had my first baby in February and I recommend getting baby saline spray. The baby frida snot sucker works great with a spray first. Also recommend an electric nail file. Cutting little tiny nails is terrifying. The nail file makes it so easy! You’ll be a great mom, just trust your mommy instincts!
So so cute! Def recommend a LOT more bibs!
Beautiful room and baby outfits.much love for you and your family
