  • Today´s video is all about the brand Curiosi. I will be reviewing three of their puzzles, a cardboard, a wooden and an acrylic one. If you are tempted to try these puzzles, then you can find them here:

I reached out to Curiosi to learn more about them as a company. You can read their reply below and I must say that all the things they mention that they focus on - the piece shapes, the fit, the wonderful images designed by Hilke and just the overall creativity and playfulness of the brand, I very much felt while putting these puzzles together.
“We are a german brand and Hilke is one of the two owners of the company. She designs every single one of the puzzles herself. We are especially proud of our Palapelis. They are not only our favorites but also the communitys favorites.
In the Curiosi Puzzle Shop are only special puzzles with extraordinary punching patterns that you have never seen before. All Curiosi puzzle cuts are unique, creating a new puzzle experience. The motivation of the company is to design puzzles that are a challenge for everyone because of their cool piece shapes. We also like to play with a lot of colors and crazy or geometrical designs and put a lot of creativity in the process. High quality regarding the pieces and the fit is also really important to us.”

    Just a little update 😊.
I got some amazing feedback from Curiosi, and they informed me that they will be looking into the problem with the wooden puzzle staining one's fingers, and the creases on the acrylic puzzle 👍

So interesting to see puzzle with such a high level of workmanship. In the USA, almost all puzzles are in cardboard boxes and much cheaper.

Loved the little panda at the end. Never heard of this brand

It's so cute 😍. I don't think Curiosi is sold very many places other than their own webside, but I hope they will be available a lot of other places over time 🤞😁

A perfect video about an interesting puzzle brand I have never heard of before. Thanks for your contribution!

I think the manufacturing process for the acrylic puzzle must be the cause of the bumps on the back of the pieces. I'd appreciate being able to tell the front from the back! I'd love to do the owls puzzle. Beautiful image, wonderful colors, and the frame concept is awesome.

If you don't mind being able to tell the difference between the sides, then Bläxi is a great challenging but not frustrating puzzle 😁.
The frame puzzles are such unique puzzles 🤩

I loved the first two but wasn't too keen on the black one. This company has some beautiful images. I really really liked the Christmas baubles image. Look forward to seeing another video from you.

There's definitely a bigger chance of me redoing the first two, than me doing Bläxi again 😉.
Yes, there are some beautiful puzzles to choose from, but the Christmas baubles is one of my favorites 🤩.
And thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🌞

This was a very interesting video. It has a unique vibe that makes it very pleasant to watch. I also like that you don't show the full timelapses as I find them a little boring and usually skip over them unless there is voiceover content. Yours has the perfect balance of timelapse and real time footage.
I would like to do all the puzzles you presented but, unfortunately, this brand is not readily available here in Canada and it would be prohibitively expensive to order directly from their web site, assuming that they would ship to North America and I could navigate their web site given that I don't know German. But, at least, I'll know about this brand if they ever become available here in the future.
Thank you for sharing your passion for jigsaw puzzles.

I'm glad you liked the video 😁. I'm like you, I also find timelapses boring, so it's nice to know, I'm not the only one 😄.
That's the only bad thing about the puzzling community, is seeing and falling in love with puzzles you can't get your hands on 😉.

Personally, I love seeing the time lapses. I love seeing the pieces coming together. There is a reason that Karen Puzzles has 234,000 subscribers on her puzzle channel.

@@clarkkent7973 If you like timelapses then you'll be well served by CZcams. There are many puzzling channels that are nothing but puzzle timelapses. I would argue however that what made Karen's channel so successful is her presentation and story telling skills as well as her endearing personality rather than her timelapse sequences.

Nice! Thank you. I like to know about the brands i have never heard of before. Though i am also curious about what or who you are looking at to your left off camera 😊

    • @a_puzzling_lamb
      @a_puzzling_lamb  Před rokem +2

It's my computer, I have it connected to my phone (which I film with), so that I can see what I film 😊. I do need to practise not to look at it as much, but I also hope it will happen naturally as I make more videos and get more used to and comfortable with it 😉

Ok! I thought it could be that. We do get really good views so no worries! Keep up the good puzzling 🥰

I really enjoyed all of these puzzles, but which one would you most like to do? 🧩
And if you have already tried a Curiosi puzzle, I would love to know what you thought about it 😁.
