- After spending the night at False Entrance Campground, we make our way up the coast to Steep Point, the most westerly point of mainland Australia. Along the way we stop to check out the blowholes and drive along some of the most incredible cliffs we've ever seen.

I reckon the rain would have made the long sandy sections easy to get through. We were in FP in late July and the 40psi club were in full recovery mode in the couple of deeply rutted sections up towards the point. 18psi for us and no worries at all. Easy H4 drive.

We left Perth Monday the 7th August, arrived Cairns Sunday the 13th and we'll be at Cape York Friday the 18th.
The spot needs an sign stating it is the most westerly point in mainland Australia. Just like it has on Cape York (most Northerly) and Byron Bay (most Easterly).
It does, it's just set back a bit from the cliff edge where the car was parked (that's the sign in the thumbnail pic for this ep 🙂)
