Great guide! I love how you've brought the second brain together with smart notes inside Notion.
Love this. I just got your template from the notion site, I'm now trying not to agonise over how to set up my notebooks (!)
But isn’t this obsolete when you apply PARA and the Second Brain? I think the mistake people make is to think notes are a seperate concept.. Notes are the building blocks of the PARA method and Second Brain. Each entry is a note in itself. Keep it simple😉
I received an update to the Second Brain Template a while ago, but I don't know how to update the previous content to the new version because I've already recorded a lot of things before.
I just downloaded this template and I really like using it so far. Can somebody suggest or explain what the "Notebook" section can be used for? I'm referring to the section that sits between the "Notes" and "Topics" sections.
I don't see how you can make connections between notes with this other than relying on memory to make connections, hence why I use Obsidian for smart notes as it has AI to make suggestions on connections that I may have forgotten. Unless there is a feature we can install on Notion to create the same thing, would be nice.
are you not using readwise it do all of that but In easy ways like the idea of Literature note and stuff but you are have reason in using notion only with your notes it also more street forward to do but the problem is I don't love the idea of using notion for everything I love notion but notion is more powerful when you use tools that are combined with it like morgen calendar and readwise and online storages like onedrive....however I test this template before it the best one that I use for now but I do some modifications on it to like notes and highlights to my second brain and it work perfectly

What are the "add" links at 0:22? How did you create that? It looks like "relation" properties… but they're located below the properties list 🤔
If you go to the relation property you made, in default its shown as a property, click the property and you get "show as" and select "as page section" it'll become part of the page
