Colab bans are standard practice in Holo. They've just gotten much shorter over time. They idea is to give the talent some solo time to establish themselves and some time where they collab solely with their genmates to let them get used to each other as streamers before they get bombarded with attention.

Sadly, A-chan graduated due to family member's health issues. Guess it's up to Nodoka to continue what A-chan started. Godspeed to her.

Big shoe's to fill but I'm sure Nodoka can handle it! And hopefully everything will be ok with A-Chan's family

A note here... INNK Music was part of Cover. Hololive was a seperate division under Cover Corp. So Suisei was never part of Hololive until the transfer. So that is why the ban was there. My guess is accounting and funding would have problematic. I don't agree, but that most likely their reasoning.

INNK is COLLAB PROJECT WITH COVER amd UPD8 (the same company who was behind the creation of Kizuna Ai and Oda Nobuhime/Omaru Polka )

Yeah, we have to remember, early hololive was actually really harsh, there had been many dramas. Cover was doing its best to manage everything and overlooked quite a few big issues, which were actually fixed in a relatively short period of time.
A-chan is definitely one of the biggest pillars to the change of Covers management and work environment, along with Yagoo who had an open mind and decided to listen to everyones worries, unlike a certian "colourful" competitor.

iRyS wasn't part of any music label as she was always part of Holo EN. The thing with her is that she was introduced solo under "Project Hope" which was just another branding under Holo EN and the problem she ran into was that there was no budget set aside for that project so she basically was just a floater in EN without a generation. Thankfully she was eventually adopted by Council and a good while after Sana graduated they decided to officially merge her in and rebrand the group to Holo EN Promise. In the case of iRyS I feel like they stumbled upon her sometime after Myth but likely before Council and they honestly didn't exactly know where they wanted to put her as she could have easily become a Holo JP member but the fact that she spoke fluent English made her incredibly appealing for the EN brand so that they'd have more members that could translate between the two groups. Interestingly enough, iRyS basically took the place of Sana in Council thus giving the group back a member who can speak JP fluently. However, it does seem like the trend of needing EN members to speak JP has come to an end with Holo Justice as not a single member of that group can speak JP conversationally while the reverse trend in Holo JP is still holding true with both HoloX and ReGLOSS both having members who can at least conversationally speak English and who have done collabs with both EN and ID members in English.

I see! I remember hearing about Project Hope so I assumed that it was something similar to INNK, as a separate entity from the main branch. I'm really glad that they finally decided to officially merge her with council to create Promise, as she had been left with no gen mates for far too long. Now she has the budgets and management to help her with her projects, we should hopefully see more from her! And it always helps to have another translator involved in a gen like you say, makes communication between branches for collabs so much easier!

@@Laverick_1 Agreed! Also, I think you had a question about why Suisei wasn't able to collab with Hololive members when she was in INNK. The important thing to know about this is that it was an ACTUAL music label which, while it was partially owned by Cover Corp, operated as its own standalone entity which is also why AZki wasn't able to collab with Hololive members until INNK went out of business and she also transferred over to Hololive. It's all based on how the contracts were written up but music is always a serious business.
I bring this up because Calli actually has a similar problem now that she's signed to a major record label in that she can't do official music collabs with other Hololive members without a bunch of red tape (this excludes things like live performances and karaoke as she's set to perform with all of Holo EN in New York live this weekend in the 3D concert and she can also do 3D collabs with other Hololive members. However, something she's not really able to do anymore is to create collaborative songs with Hololive members that conflict with her record deal. It's a bit complicated like most contract deals being signed to a major record label was always one of her dreams and because of that she's been featured in all sorts of high profile things like One Piece and Suicide Squad Isekai.

@@lyconxero457 I see, that makes a lot more sense now about INNK music! Seems like the best thing that happened for the talent there, was it closing down and being moved to Hololive!
Ah got you, that also makes sense, even if it is a shame that we won't be getting as many collab songs, we still get Mori music, and thats enough for me xD Hopefully a few collab songs can still be made though, 'Q' is still one of my favourites!

I've reacted to both Haachama and Tokino Sora's music, so watching more about their backstory could be fun!
      Cheers for the recommendation!

Correct me if I wrong, but yeah everyone thingking same like you why innk castaway suisei as more talented talent join?
But on that time we must remember, how small hololive was.
And on that time hololive is an experiment of someone that dreaming become an idol and her friend. So basicly inside cover, they still new on vtuber world.
On the time suisei transfer to hololive main branch is better time on company.
There was sora, first and second gen. Then suisei join. And one last join on that time was project "Miko" that was originaly created to matching kizuna ai.
But in matter of time, they now getting bigger and bigger to the point that hololive is the bigest vtuber agencies.
So basicly, every company starting from small and fragile road.
But nicely you catch what inside that video and this comment.💯
I will support you and your channel like my comment above. Start from small to big, I will give my support to this channel eventho I'm from indonesia. 🔥🔥💯

It's honestly insane to look back on what Suisei has been through. Starting from absolute rock bottom, having to design and rig her model, getting rejected by everyone left and right, then getting into Hololive, but having to deal with INNK's neglect, to then get into Hololive proper, and now she's making some of the most popular music in the whole Vtuber industry, and has done completely sold out solo concerts, basically becoming an actual superstar.
