Reverse engineering. Been doing that since I was a kid. It so much fun to see and find out how things work. Then one can try to make them even better. The Japanese way, really.... 😊 Really nice video again! 👍👍👍

Exactly. Such a cool way to see how things work behind the scenes and cool that these are included as part of the Installation Wizard. :)

@@WPTuts I'm very keen to crack on and follow that. I seem to be running into issues with getting some of the elements to work, possibly something I'm doing wrong (or not doing) so the step-by-step will really help. That said, seeing these new demo sites could be helpful in breaking it all down

Hi Paul, you’re well ahead with these videos following crocoblocks new release of these Dynamic Templates. Years ago and even now, going to a developer to have such dynamic websites developed would cost thousands. However these types of websites are becoming more accessible to the average person who can’t code. So with this in mind, what is the future direction for website developers in terms of where their line of work is heading? Best regards, Ash

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  Před 4 lety +2

      That's a tough one Ashfaq and something I don't think I'd say I'm 100% qualified to answer.
What I would say is that if you are a Freelancer or a very small agency, you really need to have a very rounded skill set. I think the days of developers and designers being 2 different jobs is now becoming a much greyer area. Developers need to know how to design and designers need to have an understanding of development.
That being said, unless your working on more bespoke projects, the tools we have available now are pretty amazing. Years ago, it would have been the realms of developers only, but things like JetEngine, ACF Pro, PODS and Elementor/Divi have opened up so much that for all but the most complex of sites, these tools can get the job done incredibly well.
Yes, there is still something to be said for clean code (something page builders really are still behind on), but building a site with even basic optimisation linking it to a quality CDN and caching tool, you can really get very respectable, sub 2s load times on all but the most intensive sites.
It's a good time to be in the business for many. :)

@@WPTuts Thanks Paul for such a great reply. Your work is immensely appreciated - while these page builders, and plugins provide the tools, it couldn't be done without the hard work you have put in to these videos to fill that knowledge gap.
      Thanks again!

The dynamic template are only if you have an all inclusive licence. If you still on the old licence model you won’t get those templates.

FANTASTIC, I’ve been following you for several years, I’m from Brazil and I understand you very well and I really didn’t know that these types of templates were really ready and that we can mess with Elementor but I have a question that will help me a lot, I’m making a guide of advertisers and classifieds in my city and there is no tutorial on this because I imagine that I should do a certain job but if I do one I could tell me how I do to create different fields for different categories for example Mechanics will be different from Real Estate and if I create by example Advertisers I will have to create separate Mechanics and Properties with type of advertisers to be able to make a form for each one because the information is different I hope you understood me and I would be very grateful if you helped me with this because I am 1 year trying to find something and nothing or if you know of a tutorial that talks about this subject I am immensely grateful and continue like this because your tutorials are too much in advance thank you from c a strong hug and much health !!!

Hey Paul & WP Tuts community. I'm hoping someone here will be able to help... I've created a WP Multisite and I'm using the Install Wizard to apply a base template.
Everything seems to run smoothly and install as expected, but there are instances in which images and elements are missing from the template.
Sometimes I will have to select and apply the image from the media library and other times I'm simply left with the little blue box containing a question mark "?"
Has anyone else had a similar issue? How did you fix it? What could be causing the problem?
    Thanks in advance

Hi, I have a questions about ACF (I know this does not have anything to do with this video) I am creating an ordering website for a restaurant. Is there's a way to add an ACF that will be a checkbox with different options, but limit how many the website visitor can select? (ex. have a main dish that includes 2 side dishes, but show 5 options from where the client can only select two)

SO AWESOME!! I finally had a client where I needed these kinds of dynamic elements for a 'film industry talent/hire search' and watched your vid again Paul C, setup the pitch foundation w a demo import and sending them today newsite2020.com/talentsearch/ just to give an idea of how all can work. Once hired I'll do a ground up build (hope not too confusing to create the filters etc from scratch but think all good)!! GRT Vid as always sir and luved Crocoblock and JetEngine/Jet Tricks (the multi layered mobile friendly parallax was a first for Elementor) from day one!
