- The electronic music pioneer Tangerine Dream's contribution to Grand Theft Auto 5 soundtrack can now be heard in its original form, unaltered by other composers.
The band's own description to the album:
The score for the groundbreaking game GTA 5 was based on the merging of four different artist inputs, a procedure the music supervisor of the game had to follow. Finally it worked perfectly for the game. What has been left out, necessarily to give the game a needed sound dress in its abstract form, is the so-called cinematographic score. Here you will find the music without any other information from the game itself. It’s the pure musical environment composed and played solely by Tangerine Dream. Maybe you will recognize a tune or rhythm here and there, but everything is built in the dress of sequencer lines and melodies as it was composed in the first place. This special edition is LIMITED to 2000 copies - for our diehard fans - and will not hit the major shops anywhere. - Hry
Man... coming back to this song now. It feels weird knowing that one of the guys who helped made this song is dead.
Yeah, but he passed on the torch so that TD can go on, which is pretty cool.
Burning the Bad Seal, I like to refer this track to when Trevor finally finds out the secret Michael has been keeping for almost ten years as it can be heard changed slightly in the mission Bury The Hatchet. This track has been changed slightly and is known on the Official Soundtrack as No Happy Endings.
The "Bury the Hatchet" version is the slowest, most stripped down version of the three and I really like it.
Awesome follow-up to "Burning Bar". R.I.P. Edgar.
5 stars wanted in the 80s
Thank you team56th, rip Edgar
They should've kept this version for the game this is amazing
yes, maybe I'm late for discovering this magical band, but I found it. you'll always be my favourite band, tangerine dream.
Reminds me of playing the game for the first few times on the old generation systems. It felt so different, and somehow a lot more enjoyable. But hey, it's still great and this music adds to the enjoyment.
What a legend!! We will never forget such an amazing composer!!! Epic
love the burning the bad seal no happy endings remix
Man i'm straight up enamored by this song. It's just so perfect.
It sounds like a slow downed lower pitch version of burning bar...is this what the actual tracks sound like without any editing to the files? if so thats crazzzzzyy!
I think it's the original mix/concept that got later remixed to what we have ingame
Starting at 2:19 does anyone else hear "Boom Tschak" ala Kraftwerk? I thought that was pretty neat.
Das ist meine libe music
I've said this already but I love the influences of so many 80s composers in their music; John Carpenter, Ian Hammer, Giorgio Moroder, many more... all together in a wonderful magic brew of TD...
Oh man, they missed a chance to make this and Bury The Hatchet as a duality theme.
BTH as Michael's theme, this one as Trevor's theme.
The slight difference with the same main tune would do wonders for the atmosphere of the mission.
This remix is amazing this deserves more attention.
Is this classic version, the music is edited for gta v for others artists
Está versión me encanta
