I worked with Ian at Chesfield Downs and you knew he was going to make it being so dedicated, worked hard back then and deserves everything he's got.
A great dad with a wonderful talented and fun family. If Ian Poulter never, ever, had hit even so much as one golf ball, his true legacy is with raising his children and giving his care and love to his family, which is something all of us should do.
I knew Poults when he was a young lad at Chesfield Downs. Always such a fun kid. Bundle of energy. Delighted to see him achieve so much, personally and professionally.
This is why Ian Poulter makes sure he needs to make the cut every week 😂

As a gooner and golfer myself love poults a ryder cup legend love seeing these top players at home too really hope poults gets a major one day he certainly has the ability to do it IMO
One of my favorite golfers. I had the opportunity to walk with Ian at the Accenture Match play as a Walking Scorer. I still have the golf ball he gave me. Although he didn't sign it, I know where it came from. Glad to see the family side of him!

You have to admire Ian Poulter, he has achieved the absolute maximum with his golf career. He may not have a major title yet, but when it comes to the Ryder Cup, he’s a Giant, and he has had some big wins on the PGA & European tour.
Ian's positivity and sense of fun is contagious. It looks like he''s passed on his amazing golf swing to his kids too.
Ian is one of the most underrated players in golf.

You know that the average winning check for a normal PGA tour event is around 1 - 1.5 million dollars right? He’s won a few times and he’s had a lot of top 10s so seeing he’s done this well isn’t very surprising.

A couple weeks away from home, i used to go to sea for five months home for two then away again, i never got to see my kids grow up. You make millions playing something you enjoy, try being in a Hurricane or Typhoon at sea or spending days with hardly any sleep working in an Engine room with temperatures in excess of 40c. Many people sacrifice seeing their families including military people. So think yourself very lucky you have the Life you have, and tell Rory he needs a Pro Caddie.

The average pro tour Golfer like Ian Poulter who travels the world (not just the US where he lives) probably spends just a few weeks a year at home.
We all make our choices and sacrifices in life. Ian Poulter has made his but I’m sure knows how lucky he is.

the golfer who complained on Twitter after his children's nanny left him and his wife to look after their four children alone on the flight.
Not quite correct, he complained that BA had downgraded his nanny from Business leaving his wife look after the children. His beef was with BA and he wasnt actually on the flight himself.

Yes just a normal family, my swimming pool and pool tables etc etc, are just my normal way if life, you're not a normal functioning family you are a very privileged family and no problem there, you're a very successful golfer and well played for that, but normal give it a rest.
