I absolutely love this theme and how you incorporated it in your bujo in such a creative way. As a Pansexual I would love to do some sort of pride theme but I feel like it might be too hard to do so while keeping my journal functional. I may just try anyways so we'll just have to see 🤞🏾

June is my annual pride theme, last year I did colored fairy lights, this year is probably gonna be shapes with the sunrise pride flags or just sunrises in those colors
Just to let you know using the word token in reference to minority groups isn't the best idea, tokenism is a huge issue. I hope it wasn't your intent to use pride month to make yourself look better.
I LOVE this setup!! Since I plan to do a rainbow theme for July (which is my birthday month and because rainbow things make me RIDICULOUSLY happy), I decided that I will celebrate Pride Month this year using the Pansexual colours. I am definitely going to steal some of your ideas (like the background Love is Love quote and the black calendar with acrylograph striped dividers). For your habit tracker, you could put an X or a + through the days that you didn't do the habit, in the same or contrasting colour. Or even just a dot in the centre, so that there is something there, but it doesn't look like the box is too filled in. Even just one diagonal line (rather than an X).

Mine is a "ready, set, go" theme with racing stripes, checkered patterns (for the flags) and neon red, yellow, and green for stoplights. I'm starting college on June 1st so I thought it was fitting 😊

OMG You have endless patience. I would have given up partway through the quote page and throw my bujo out the window. That looked like a pain in the wrist to set up!! But I can see it was definitely worth it in the end. For you habit tracker you could try a light grey 'x' or thick dot for the days you missed. That way you can see days you missed but without it detracting from the final flag design too much. Or you can do x or dots in the colour of the week for days missed and colour in full for the days you did the habit. That ways it's fully coloured flag at the end...but it may be hard to see what days you did habits and what days you didn't from a overview perspective. Anyway can't wait to see it all filled out.
Very nice. At first I was really baffled how you were going to make that into your theme, but you did a great job. Very creative and nice. My theme seems less creative in contrast. I am doing a certain style of flower doodle in specific color pallets. Each week is a different version of the same color pallet and slightly different version of the same flower doodle style. It is looking nice so far.
Your June theme fills my heart with so much joy 💗💗💗 My June theme is going to be nautical/water, inspired by one of your earlier themes this year! Figured since the temperature is warming up in the northern hemisphere, it's the perfect time to do it.
For your habit tracker you could use a lighter variation of the colour for habits you don't do (for white you'd have to do a darker grey rather than lighter I guess?) or you could just do a dot in the colour if you don't do a habit.
What about putting a dot in the boxes where a habit wasn’t accomplished? For example, the rows that would have fully colored in black boxes if the habit was completed could have a small black dot for the days that weren’t

My June theme this year is clocks and gears. I did pride themed June in 2019... Focused on the rainbow flag and lesbian flag but had a mini calender to celebrate sexualities and genders on their own days 😊🏳️🌈👭
Awesome theme! I think a lot of my students would celebrate you for that theme! My theme will be all the flowers and colours we will be using in our wedding, we wantedt to marry last June but thanks to C..... we moved it to this June
For habits not completed a dot/star in the colour of that particular section of the flag, ie. a blue dot/star for the blue section, a pink dot/star for the pink section etc. While completed ones a block of colour that corresponds with the particular section of the flag.

I did the sketching out over a couple of days (took a while to think of how I wanted to include all the flags) but the setup itself I did in one (long) Sunday afternoon 😋💜

Those came out very good. I never do themes for my bujo, I just try to experiment on the most efficient way to organize. I have a mood tracker, but my mood tracker I track and pat myself on the back when people or things don't ruin my mood. It is always our choice whether to let life bother us, so I practice not letting the jerks bother me. I saw your time tracking spread. I've been debating doing that, and I'm trying to keep myself disciplined to finish my book. What did you learn from your time tracking spread? Thanks
Well, as for the habit tracker - when the habit "doesn't habit" just leave the space blank? (without any colouring) That's what I do and it always seemed a bit useless to have a colour to put on for "didn't happen" habit... Anyway it's very interesting theme and you figured out very effectively how to perform it (if that's the right expression)

Hi Jashii. The theme of my bullet journal next month will be a popular and cultural festival in the region where I live, which unfortunately has been canceled since last year due to the pandemic: the São João Festival.
Sad that the festival has been cancelled but hopefully people can find their own ways to celebrate safely 💜 great reason to use it as a theme in your journal!
@@JashiiCorrin We actually did. There was a kind of virtual São João. It wasn't the same way, obviously, but it was enough to ease the sadness of not being able to have it last year.
Question, for the last few months I’ve not been very busy. In fact I’m finding my Bujo is rather sparse these days. Any suggestions on other ways to use my bujo when I’m not busy…like, at all…we’re still locked down here in Niagara Falls 😔
Update I ended up scratching both ideas and ended up going for Alice and Zouroku instead because I wanted to do something that I could do more of a dreamy watercolor look with.
A little bummed Nonbinary didn't make it (it's a four striper) but I absolutely love how you did this. The "Love is Love" pages are my favorite not just for the dedication to it, but how nicely they turned out as well. Also Idk about you, but happy (early) Pride month coming up! I'm hoping that while there may not be events, to get together with some friends to celebrate.
I was going to do nonbinary on the habit tracker, but because there are 30 days in the month that would be 7.5 days per stripe 😅 Possibly going to see if I could work it into my monthly reflection page! Happy early Pride month! 🥳💜
With my black fineliners I don't, mainly because they aren't inky enough to cause a problem. When I rule a line of colour with my Tombows though, the edge of the ruler does pick up colour so I make sure to wipe it off after using each colour so I don't get any unwanted colour mixing 😊💜
@@JashiiCorrin baby wipes are great for this, the Swiss Army knife of moms😉 damp enough to clean all the ink, but dry enough not to drip. Thought I might just be pressing too hard against my ruler ☺️
I'm doing a very minimalist theme next month, only using black pens. I'm going to use my favorite Richard Siken quotes and then do little line art polaroid doodles inspired by those quotes.

Well, as for the habit tracker - when the habit "doesn't habit" just leave the space blank? (without any colouring) That's what I do and it always seemed a bit useless to have a colour to put on for "didn't happen" habit...
Anyway it's very interesting theme and you figured out very effectively how to perform it (if that's the right expression)

Hi Jashii. The theme of my bullet journal next month will be a popular and cultural festival in the region where I live, which unfortunately has been canceled since last year due to the pandemic: the São João Festival.
Sad that the festival has been cancelled but hopefully people can find their own ways to celebrate safely 💜 great reason to use it as a theme in your journal!
@@JashiiCorrin We actually did. There was a kind of virtual São João. It wasn't the same way, obviously, but it was enough to ease the sadness of not being able to have it last year.

Update I ended up scratching both ideas and ended up going for Alice and Zouroku instead because I wanted to do something that I could do more of a dreamy watercolor look with.

Do you ever get ink on your rulers when using? Does it ever bleed or leave marks when you move the ruler? How do you troubleshoot this?
With my black fineliners I don't, mainly because they aren't inky enough to cause a problem. When I rule a line of colour with my Tombows though, the edge of the ruler does pick up colour so I make sure to wipe it off after using each colour so I don't get any unwanted colour mixing 😊💜
@@JashiiCorrin baby wipes are great for this, the Swiss Army knife of moms😉 damp enough to clean all the ink, but dry enough not to drip. Thought I might just be pressing too hard against my ruler ☺️

I'm doing a very minimalist theme next month, only using black pens. I'm going to use my favorite Richard Siken quotes and then do little line art polaroid doodles inspired by those quotes.
Maybe for your habits you don't do instead of filling the whole box in, you could put lines in it?
