As someone who has cringed at my own fanfics, I can understand your intense dislike for this fangan. But I do want to add I did love your idea for having 2 protagonists because that came across as an original idea for me and I hope more fangans include this mechanic. In fact, RR did inspire me when coming up with my own set of Ultimates. Now I have NO plans to make my own fangan due to time and lack of skill in the technology department (best I can do is a written fanfic or comic), but I still wanted to a "What if" situation if I ever did create my own fangan. So for my group of Ultimates I did create two protags- male and female with the girl being the one for daily life and the male for deadly life stuff. So I just wanted you to know that RR did inspire me so you don't feel it was a complete waste of time.
I actually have an idea for a fangan that has two protags in two seperate killing games that are happening at the same time. One is a blackened (I can't explain it in-depth rn but if you kill someone you have to continue to kill the other students even if you didn't get caught) and the other is a standard protag.

Chapter 3 sounds fucking awesome honestly. The storm makes for a really cool thematic and seeing the killer just be a plain fucker sounds fun. I wish we made it in far enough to see that...

@@StephenW313 Give her what she deserves! I think her execution is brilliant. You put the heartbreaker in Chapter 5 heartbreaker for her which is honestly super nice (but depressing) to see. I honestly feel like you wrote her super well, but maybe that's just my personal taste.

I will admit. It is sad to see a fangan go like this. But I know it's certainly a very fun fangan. I loved it and I hope that the people behind will make another one. Hopefully not one like a video game because it looked like it was so much more harder time to do than a CZcams video series like Shattered Hope. Anyway, thanks again for bringing Rocky Restarts to life in some way. You guys are awesome

Surprisingly, making it a game isn't the difficult part for me since I'm very used to it by this point, it's the writing... It takes so long to get things feeling right with pacing, logic, all that. It's kinda strange! But yes, thank you again ahah, I'm not sure if you've seen it but I actually do have another one in progress and there's a lil' sneak peak of it uploaded :)
Harmony really went the whole game doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and survived. The bish really said "plot armor because i am likeable".

I am SUPER SHOCKED that Jesse lives as long as he does because I thought he'd die in case 2 or something. Same with Harmony.

In my opinion, some things could actually work very well
Switch Julian with Alexander in when they die, reason being is because Julian is a police officer and maybe becomes disillusioned with the cast heavily, and perhaps sees it as a civic duty to kill them all in chapter 4. And then in chapter 6, have the trial reveal who the traitor is, since the mastermind being victor is well known. Then have Jesse fight Victor, they kill each other and the 3 (Kim, Harmony, Alexander) all escape.
Also I do think that having Victor be the mastermind is hilarious especially with the pin saying he wasn't one. I really like all other aspects of the story.

While i can see why you caned Rocky restarts i still have to admit that is was one of my favorite fangans with the characters being really enjoyable to watch and some of my favorites form the fangans i have seen so far. It sucked that its dead in the water but i do feel that there are good concepts here (the camp setting especially) and im still really am looking forward for your next project.

It’s sad to see Rocky Restarts go,but I’ve enjoyed every last minute of it.
The order had a lot of plot twists,especially when Melody’s killer was revealed.
You did an amazing job with this fangan and the cast all did amazing with the voices for the characters. The characters were so lovable. Hunter,Harmony,Kim,Victor,Dennis,Emily,Norah and Julian have been some of my favorite Characters from the Rocky Restarts fangan,and the story was amazing.
I’m excited to see how your next fangan plays out.

Idk why but this video and the video about the state of Rocky restarts on made me love Rocky restarts even more. It's probably the humor you have. I am also creating a fangan (its a small crossover and won't be a programmed game) and I also do find myself filling in gaps that I made like a year and a half ago when atp I should just start anew but I kinda like it so far.
I did like the idea of chapter 4 but it is just the idea of someone purposely trying to hide the dead body because they killed in self defense.
I found this really great!! I'm glad that we actually get to know what happens even though this project will likely never be picked up again. I think chapter 5 was the saddest though because both characters that die in it are my favorite characters from this fangan.

Something nice I realized like a couple of months later is that Hunter briefly said only 2 people will make it out of the killing game alive. That's really nice forshadowing
what I find funniest out of all of this is that harmony someone who got cancelled on twitter survived

My ideas for Marcus' and Emily's executions
Love Letter: Marcus is in a classroom being forced to write love letter to Kim (Because he was a fecking yandere in the first draft), but then a fire drill alarm is heard, forcing Marcus to run outside where there's a huge Tornado following him. The Tornado shoots out bark (because wood to paper and Marcus is a poet) which gives him cuts. He keeps on running until he reaches a wall of trees. Then the Tornado shoots out a pen which goes for Marcus' neck. It hits, killing him.
Building Tour: Emily is approached by a Monokuma spokesperson who gives her a tour oh a Skyscraper. They do the tour having multiple death traps in it, but Emily survives all of them, harmed. She is separated for the Monokuma spokesperson where she is bought to a choice, 👉 to save everyone. Or 👈 to save herself. She chooses 👈, buy then, Alexander's corpse on a wire comes in with to force pushing her with it then reach a window. The wire snaps just as the 2 (or just Emily) smash into the window, it breaks, causing the 2 bodies to fall. The building torn down before the bodies hit the ground. On them, just ot make sure she's super dead.
I will just say this: may your talent and hard work be praised and admired. The scenarios you have put the contestants in were very creative. So have no regrets as your creativity defines you and is your strong point.

As someone who currently writes a fangan story as well I can very much relate with the flawed writing and hating on your past self...
However I must say that the ideas and twists aren't all bad, there is stuff that's good in there.
It's just very flawed at some points and without spoiling the video there are some questionable things.
I would just say that you should keep up the good work and I mean learning from your mistakes is good right?

Hi, just wanted to put my appreciation here, I truly think this is the best fangan I've seen, for a couple if reasons: the characters were much more then black and white like in other fangans and even danganronpa itself, the murder(s?) were clever, but so confusing, but now i'm getting to the most important bit.
This fangan actually made me feel something, not just watch people solve murders, but how they deal with it and how they actually feel, that is amazing, and I thank you so much ❤

I’ll be honest Glenn was my favorite character and I kinda related to him a lot, so after that I was like- well shit time to find a new character to like- also did harmony get any character development? Cuz like-
honestly youre too hard on your writing. as long as you learned something from it its good. everyone has to struggle to learn more and theres nothing wrong with that besides most people like writing with flaws yknow a few things here and there gives the story itself character. the story is its own character. nobody really wants the hypothetical perfect story because to be perfect in a literary sense and appeal to people it would be the most boring soulless-ass piece around "bad writing" is charming and human and you shouldnt beat yourself up for it.

It's especially tough with a super long term project like this because I DO want it to be perfect if I'm spending years of my life on it with no direct pay, but obviously that's not possible especially when I'm an amature)
@@StephenW313 of course. honestly with my project i just lean into it. ive been developing it for 3 years and i just flow with it. i started writing keeping in mind that the main has social baggage so is quite odd and as much as i WANT to fix how awkward the beginning is the intention was to be awkward. instead of letting myself fix things up in the editing drafts i just lean into it. weird wording, main character not introducing themself to everyone, some slightly too terse introductions. its all stuff logically i WANT to fix. but i know will add more to the feel of the early story and the growing pains of a kid learning to trust and socialize.
weird and bad writing can add so much feeling honestly and we cant all be perfect writing machines. (though writing AI isnt that great at writing either lmao) its a lot of work to learn not to bring yourself down for "mistakes" but its a rewarding journey to go through to accept all of your own work for the flaws and what they add. happy little accidents and such. definitely wish you luck on your future stuff though. as long as you put heart into it people will enjoy it.
