A month ago I bought a watch for the first time (had few gifted before) - Casio F-91 W. The classic, basic, crazy affordable casio watch and I LOVE it. Retro looks, so light on the hand, thin so I don't bump into stuff with it anymore. Casio watches rock.

Do not, under any circumstance, apologize for loving Casio calculator watches! They were, still are, and always will be, flipping awesome. The best feature of all is the sound of vaginas drying up all around you as you walk by. No charge for that one by Casio, mind you... Strap 'em on and wear 'em proudly my kiwi friend!

The databanks were incredibly useful in their day, they now have the charm and nostalgia of all redundant tech, (until the phone battery dies, when they beome incredibly useful once more!) still good looking pieces today. Indeed might well re invest in one. Cheers for the post/review.

The best was the Casio calculator watch that could be programmed as a remote control for a TV and VCR. When I was in grade school and the teacher would play a movie, we'd constantly mess with the VCR; fast forward, slow mo, rewind, pause... Teacher had the IT guy swap out the VCR. Imagine her surprise when it kept happening :)

Tissot actually make some very good watches and the brand has a great history. The watch, nor the car, nor any other material thing makes the man. If that was the case, you wouldn't have the sort of subscriber base you've got. So it must be down to your personality.......that's the Rolex you possess.

I CANNOT tell you how many times I sat in engineering review meetings back in the 80's when I worked at a computer company, named after a fruit, and numerous people's watches would sound-off beeping at the top of the hour... Except for those few who were off by a few seconds or so. It was funny to see who's watch was off, then we'd all laugh questioning their technical abilities. Yea, real funny stuff... Oh yea, I still have mine. lol!

I wore the black plastic Casio calculator watch when I was a kid, I wasn't fancy like you with the gold one, HA HA. A few years ago I bought another one and it is sitting there new in the case in my closet, just as a piece of nostalgia. I moved onto the G-Shocks later on in my teenage years because I surfed and skated; fast forward years later and I own/owned lots of different high-end brands and I now wear the Apple Watch, even though I kind of hate it, it does have its uses. If I was to go back to a traditional watch it would be my Breitling or perhaps get a Bell & Ross. I also want to spend a ludicrous amount of money one day and buy a Lange.

I myself own about 7 Calculator watches. I'd buy more, but I can't fit anymore watch cases in my room. I have pretty much all the available "modern" ones from Amazon and I own 3 older DBC's from the 80's/90's. I definitely would like to own a CFX-200. Even though I'm not a math guy, I'd love to add this particular one to my collection one day. Cheapest ones I've seen on eBay go for about $500 bucks. One day, I'll get it in my collection.
I almost got a DBC 610 at one point. I did not know it had a security feature. Wish my DBC 150's and 810 had that.
