Okay, this is on repeat. SO talented. Can sing, can rap, and a lyricist. Good times in music are coming back. Thank you!
Not only that, this humble yet smooth & confident artist composes/writes his own songs, creates the beats, plays good with instruments like guitar & piano, can dance & beatbox, produces/directs/edits/does the visual effects of his music videos & can draw too. He can rap rap, sing sing. He got songs in RNB, rock n roll, pop, techno, hiphop. He is also into death metal. He is a jack of all trades & good to very good in all these aspects. Check his ACT 1 album so ypu will see. It's actually rare & kind of crazy to see this kind of artist nowadays. Thank God they still exist!

In my opinion EZ Mil has the potential & talent to be a #1 Billboard type level kinda artist. A fuckin superstar. Hes still so raw TBH but the fact how his music still comes out high quality, unique and original is very impressive. The potential that I see in him is off the charts! 🇵🇭 🇵🇭

It's not everyday that Filipinos or people encounter a talent such as Ez Mil. A Filipino through and through, trying to break into the international industry. That's why I don't get the term of others saying Filipinos or other people are overrating him too much. We all know he's not in that level yet to be one of the greats, but someone with those many talents shouldn't be hidden or suppressed. I just know he will be one day, for sure. He's proud to be and always representing the Philippines. I always remember one reactor who reacted on the 'Panalo' line, "First true Filipino rapper on the news", and he agreed because he doesn't even know that Filipinos are also good in rap especially like that. And that certain reactor is also a rapper. So just imagine that. Ez is very special to the point that he captured the hearts of people of all ages, foreigners are vibing to his songs even if it was multilingual, and Filipinos from ALL AROUND the WORLD supports him, that it's all very overwhelming. Who else had that kind of opportunity? That's all, thank you! God bless us all.
This man is a legend in the making. Just wait, they will second guess their opinions! Much love to Ez!!!

@@IkariQuit Yeah..
He has the talent to be a great, just needs the opportunity to be heard by the world and mainstream to be a superstar.
He's not afraid to say he didn't know at first that the N word is actually offensive to black people, but now understands upon learning the culture. He's not afraid to say that he didn't know Nipsey until his death, and gave us something to reflect on regarding artists that we should be noticing while they are still alive, and not only when they pass away.
This free spirited kid has a lot to say and everything came from his experience. He's keeping it real all the time, no pretensions, and from there emanates his character as an artist.
yes coz the word is used in the Philippines coz it describes a place, a group of black natives or an adjective for dark skin, thats why in his Tagalog verse he said its normal here coz its not racist here, he mentioned the word "Negro" or the slang for the "n" word but he found out that its a whole different thing there though we know that but hearing or learning that in person hits differently.
WELL SAID🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
My family is from a province in the Philippines called Negro's Occidental, the Visaya regions of the PI, Negro is a very common word in that area. Its no disrespectful to blacks its how Filipino's describe one another. It's just mind blowing to see any full pinoy/pinay get U.S mainstream attention.
I think every time the "N" word is discussed, there seems to be some confusion. From my understanding, the "N" word that's derogatory refers to the WORD that CONTAINS THE LETTER " I" that ends with letter "R" because there are still African-American ORGANIZATION that uses the word Negro. But there have been a lot of discussion and decisions to totally eliminate the use of the word Negro in the US.
Even in the Latin American countries were the word Negro is the Spanish word for Black, there have been movements to also eliminate the use of the word. But then in the US, the word BLACK is still use in the US to describe Americans of African descent which is NEGRO in SPANISH.
Yet they use it 24/7 🤷🏻♂️
EZ is the truth. He got next. He deserves it. I haven't been this excited about hip hop for a long time. And I'm an old head, been at it since the 80's. Icing on the cake is he's Filipino. I'm half and haven't been in tune to the PH culture much cause my parents got divorced when I was a kid, but all this got me interested in a major way.

Translation and context: In Philippines there are also called Negro (black people) and people can say that anywhere without being offended- esp it’s like a descriptive word. He got surprised that in US, black people are offended by that term.
when i asked my black friends asked why they get offended with the word, 1 of them instead got mad instead of telling me.
@@erenjager9932 how is negro came from black to big nose? Negro is a Spanish word for black. So if you anything black. You'll hear them saying negro. Though my coworker here in US said that they dont like it because there's a meaning behind he said. The negro has the stereotypical term for uneducated back in the day.
@@erenjager9932 wow. Also? A little different though. But do they also call those words to themselves?
Guys share niyo link sa fb friends niyo para dumami views and likes support tayo kay EZ. Para makacollab niya big names sa US. Thanks!
Are you alluding to blacks in Filipino or non blacks in Filipino not being offended ?
Logic needs to sign this guy.
Context for non-Filipinos out here:
We also have black people in our country, dark-skinned, curly hair, wide lips, which characteristics also reflect of sub-Saharan Africans. Our black people usually lives in the rural provinces and rarely lives in urban areas. We call them Negros as per our Spanish colonizers called them that, so the locals stuck with that term.
I quite understand why Negro in the US has different meaning and weight compared to us because of the difference of culture. We Filipinos never enslaved our blacks (though the Spaniards did for their time here) and just lived as a neighboring communities throughout the centuries whilst African-Americans got a long slavery and racism issues 'til this day as far as how my knowledge right now comprehends it.
Saddly, it looks bad on all of us white ppl in America even if not all of us feel that way or even came from the Americans that enslaved. Racism in general in America is really bad. I am starting to think everyone in this Country is just so full of hate that it will never change. Funny thing is, now scientist are linking all of the worlds races to Africa! We all came from the same place! Skin pigments do not make any of us any less human! We all can from the same place and all ppl do is hate their own kind in the end. The world is a hard place for a lot of ppl, why must ppl insist on making it harder for any race? It is so sad cause in the end, we are all just humans trying to survive this world!
@@My-Tom-Cute Agreed, there must be some kind of system that fuels the racism trend right now. Everyone is equal, no one should have special treatment in that way, it would be a good start.

Ez is trying to explain that we have words in our language like "Negros", "Negritos" but those words doesn't mean "racism/hate". Negros is a Name of place here in the Philippines and Negros/negritos are our Ancestors. And we put RESPECT on those words. But there was an issue before When a group of Filipino pop singers was misunderstood because of this. And I'm kinda shock about that issue too. But don't misunderstand us cause we fully know how hurtful racism is. Racism was part of our history. And we ain't tolerating that kind of disrespect. Even our current president called out an american interviewer for being nosy about Philippines issues but they should just focus on the issue about the racism happening in America. Just saying bruh. We use those words with respect bruh. In our language those words doesn't mean hate. It's shocking that in western culture those words are interpreted bad and negative.
I am a bit confused here...I am pretty sure the word "Negritos" is not an original word of the peoples they apply to. That is, the history of that is that the word was ascribed to them from the Spanish. And so I am curious as to the roots of that, whether that was a friendly naming of them or whether it was done in a demeaning way. Even though of course currently the words Negro and Negrito no longer currently carry any discriminatory or negative meaning, I am suspecting the origins of the word probably did carry divisive and maybe discriminatory overtones, as they did across the board for any word with the prefix "neg-" during colonial eras all around the world (such as words like "denigrate").
What I am saying is, while it is good to celebrate the current non-discriminatory uses of the words today, it is also good to recognize potentially colonialistic/imperialistic roots of the terms. And, if they are still offensive to any today, it would be good to consider alternative names. For instance, the high school near me is renaming their mascot because they are called "Conquistadors", which is a bit playful modernly but was found to offend people of indigenous background whose ancestors were mistreated by Conquistadors.
I would be highly intrigued to learn if anyone knows how the Negrito people referred to before the colonial term of "Negrito" was applied to them, and whether they still call themselves an original name in their own language. Personally I would prefer that people be referred to whatever name they refer to themselves in their own native language.
In western culture, these words are viewed as bad and negative because they have such a strong history of being used that way. I also tend to disagree with what the president said about the American interviewer being "nosy." We live in a global society now and what every country does now affects every other country in very real ways. For instance, Filipinos form a large part of the health care worker industry in America, and to understand their cultural context and the way they view race relations would be highly beneficial for Americans who interact with Filipinos in America on a daily basis.
I bring this up because a common response is for people to disassociate themselves from such words when they learn of the colonial roots of them. This happens all over the world, especially among the younger generation, as they become educated about how certain words and names came into being. Many seek a return to original names and words, as they begin to inquire into their own identities and histories.
Summary: A healthy balance between celebrating non-discriminatory word uses while still understanding the potentially colonial roots to a word can lend some balance to the overall viewpoint.
I got curious and asked Google, apparently Ferdinand Magellan happened in 1500s in Philippines. Spain colonised the country for 330 some years and the spanish word for black is negro. I think the difference between the American culture is they didn't use slavery as the main course of action to have control and forced their power to the people but instead they introduced religion.
That's what i get spending 5 minutes doing google search and I won't be surprised if i make no sense. ✌🏼🙂
“Blank sheets on my page and I’m getting it done, writing a song.”
