Can you please make a video explaining how you wired it? Also, there’s a button/switch on the bottom of the motor that’s usually held in by hand for airplane use. How did you bypass that? And did you use the “jumper cables” to connect to the battery? I’m so lost! Please help!
Speed controller is no longer available. Do you have suggestions for a controller that is hand held? Is recommended motor capable of forward, reverse and stop?
I'm not sure about a hand held controller...I will look into it. The pulleys spin pretty fast and without bearings it would create too much heat from friction resulting in malfunctioning pulleys or string break. The motor shaft size is 1/4 inch, I believe. I'll check and get back to you.
@@bilharzwoodworks can you provide a list of parts which you used for the lure setup please? I would be looking to make one for a malinois for use to keep up general fitness levels. Any help is appreciated very much.
Todd this is a fantastic machine that you have built. Thank you for putting up the excellent video. I’ll be sending you an email to get more information.
I turned the pulley on a wood lathe. I cut the center so it would fit snuggly inside the motors pulley and drilled a hole for the motor shaft then just held it on with a lock washer and nut.
Thank you 🙂 for the video, I can't afford to purchase a retail machine. I'm excited to make mine now.
Where you able to make it?

I'm looking for the parts now....
Thanks very much. You're the first to link the parts
I'm not seeing a link to the parts. Can you help here?
Do you have actual directions that you might be willing to share. My husband could totally do this! ❤
It would be nice if you’d have listed all your parts with links where you purchased them.
Do you have a video when it's operating? I want to make one too.
Yes, this is great. i have all the parts in my cart. i sent you an email too with some additional questions.

Very cool!!
Could you make s video showing how you set up the course?
Are there written instructions available? I’m a terrible audible learner and could really use a reference sheet
HOW do you connect the speed controller to the motor and power???
Hey! I’m trying to make one of these for my dogs. Where can I find that motor?
When is the video coming out on tutorial?? Thank you by the way!
How'd you keep the motor from frying itself in 5 minutes?
How did you bypass the part on the motor that you have to squeeze to get it to run
the speed controller is not available .. is there another one on Amazon that will work ?
How did you connect string to pulley on motor to make it continuous loop?
Can I buy a pulley for the motor anywhere? I don’t have access to a lathe & I don’t see plastic plates lasting.
I would love to get one for my Border Collie because how much energy and I'm getting up there in a so if it is possible could you please send me a price list thank you
How did you attach the pulley to the motor?
Can you link the stakes you use as well?
I'd love to make one as the challenge would be good for me. Do you have a parts list? And where in the world did you find that motor?

Are the pulleys required to have bearings? What shaft size does the motor require?

Was wondering if you could provide a pully that I can purchase for the motor you use also the dimensions of your box thanks.. and great job
I can provide you with a similar pully that I use on the same motor and detailed prints on the box.

How do you attach the line to that 7" pulley?
The line is in a continuous loop and pulled tight over the pull. The tension on the line keeps it moving
How much is your machine to buy
Hi what speed control did you use and where did you get it from
A link to the speed controller is in the description 👍
