The body of 7-year-old Athena Strand has been found, Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin said at a press conference on Friday night, and a suspect is in custody. Tanner Lynn Horner, 31, confessed to police to abducting and killing Athena Wednesday afternoon, Akin said. Akin said Horner, who was working as a contract FedEx truck driver, had been delivering a package to Athena's family home when she was allegedly abducted. Akin said Horner is being charged with capital murder and aggravated kidnapping. He is booked into the Wise County Jail and his bond at this time is $1.5 million.
As a Fedex employee I actually work for Fedex and I’m not a contractor this makes my blood boil, not only is a innocent child live lost but some sick fuck, gave me and everyone else who does honest work for Fedex a terrible image.

Did WBAP send out a emergency alert as well that amber alert siren they play after the initial SAME tone is scary, I spent time in Wichita Falls at Sheppard Air Force Base and fell asleep with the TV I had on in the dorm and got woken up by the EAS sound figured it was just a test till I heard that sound for the first time and it scared me good it was right after the January 6th riot in DC a and I thought something really bad happened and a EAN got issued
Just to hear a baby being abducted and being found dead is sad to hear and the baby who was abducted did not deserve to die. The baby should have lived a lot longer instead of being abducted.
