- Electric tricycles are great for seniors. E Trikes are expanding the kind of rides seniors can do. Prior to adding electricity to ebikes and trikes many seniors would be limited to how far they could ride. There are now many different types of options of electric tricycles for senior riders. But how do you know which choice is best for you. Well, in this video Constance, 81, and Phyllis, 67, test ride electric tricycles for the first time. They test ride each and choose which one is best for them. You'll see how Constance ultimately decides on a tricycle that is lower to the ground and features a elongated frame. For Phyllis it was a little bit of a tougher choice. She liked several different trikes, but ultimately landed on one. Watch to see which trike these senior riders chose.

Constance is a hoot to watch in this video as well as the other lady with her! They’re so funny to watch them ride because their humor is what drives videos like this for me in my opinion as someone who is neurodiverse and is getting her own trike tomorrow :)

Truth! I only started watching his content on here about 4 days ago and I love it! I’m planning on getting my first and very own trike tomorrow (6.30.24) with money I made from work. I’m gonna go halfsies with my mom for it :) she pays half and I pay half :)
I love this video. The one lady who was so apprehensive in the beginning ended up giggling like a teenager. I am betting she’s going to actually use an e-trike in her future. ❤❤❤🎉
I can see why the 2nd trike better for many seniors. I have ridden many mobility scooters and this would feel much more like them. Especially with the larger seat for support that also gives the illusion of greater stability.
so cool seeing how they both took to the etrikes, especially the older lady who at first counted herself out and was discouraged. Put the biggest smile on my face once that older lady found one she was comfortable enough to use herself and started havong a blast and also found one she liked being a passenger in!!
And that comfy seat should be on them all lol

Really though it was great to see some seniors express themselves and thoughts of what would work for them as far as e-trikes go. It was fun and Im glade they all had fun as well and were all safe at the end.
Those two women did an informative and fun commercial for sixthreezero. They should have gotten the bike of their choice as a gift. I really like the one with the passenger seat but I could never afford to buy it. Very nice trikes!
I wish you would take the seat off the simple glide and put it on the rickshaw and put a larger motor in the rear axial, take the bench seat away and put in a larger basket with the nice wire over the top to close, and I will be ordering that one for sure. I am in love with the larger seat. I have enjoyed this video more than all the others; these ladies are just lovely to show all about the trikes.
What do you think would be best for someone with messed up Shoulders. The reality is Shoulders are critical for everything. I used to ride bikes pretty regularly. But I think untreated calcific Tendonitis rained on my riding parade.
I actually had a heart transplant 24 years ago and looking for the perfect ebike. Exercise is critical for the heart.

Bike makers need to put better seats on for seniors. I only buy bikes with longer wider seats, it's impossible to ride on skinny bikes seats as you age. I'm amazed they don't realize this.

Is the Super Glide e Trike available now?
Other e-bike or e-trike reviews make assumptions on the ‘ease of use’, but hand a complete newbie senior their first smart phone and see how ‘easy’ it is. The stability of a car-style seat coupled with a longer, slacker wheelbase was significant. Any new e-trike user is gonna feel awkward with the disconnected feel of the steering as you don’t lean into a turn and sharp turns at even lower speeds feel like the bike wants to go in the direction of the turn and your body doesn’t naturally follow. The best way to get used to it is first look in the direction you want to go and the bike and steering will naturally follow. Having a seat back definitely made Constance feel more connected to the bike rather than feeling like she’d fall to the side. The trike may not tip over but the rider could possibly fall off the seat in a panic turn.
Great bikes. The older lady doesn't want to peddle, so she would be better with an electric mobility scooter.
I'm confused you didnt name the companies for each bike and you should have mentioned price of each one for those of us who r not tech savvy $$$ is a big factor as well
