- I really really loved my time in vannes france 🇫🇷,highly recommend it,as a place to visit. debs xx
The name Vannes comes from the Veneti, a seafaring Celtic people who lived in the south-western part of Armorica in Gaul before the Roman invasions. The region seems to have been involved in a cross channel trade for thousands of years, probably using hide boats and perhaps Ferriby Boats.[4] Wheat that apparently was grown in the Middle East was part of this trade.[5] At about 150 BC the evidence of trade (such as Gallo-Belgic coins) with the Thames estuary area of Great Britain dramatically increased
A place I have never heard of before and despite getting sea sick I would not mind one of those yachts myself to be honest. So nice to see the sun and blue skies again, I am missing both so much, sick of the rain and the miserable days. I would be spending a lot of time and money ion that pastry shop, the food looked amazing and loved the little land train, I would need a sit down after all that food! As I do not like Chinese food I would not miss any of their restaurants but I am very parcel to a MacDonald's. Cannot believe that was 2nd October, the weather looked amazing, perfect for sitting outside eating and drinking in a nice café. So many lovely shops and the architecture of that church was stunning, inside and outside, great place to take a minute as well as cooling off too. Its funny how crying babies sound the same in all languages lol but it did look quiet there and a lot of space so you could find a nice quiet spot. The horseman statue at the end it very similar to the horseman statue in Durham market place, although we never seen to get sunshine like that. What a great way to finish, the food looked lovely and I wish me and Mrs Metalman were sitting there with you both, cheers Alan

Love my time here , I just stick a pin in a map 🗺️,and go we’re heading here ,one videos I still got lost and ended up at a different castle to one on the map 😂. Yes this weather is getting me down as we cockneys say “raining bloody cats 🐈 and dogs 🐕 all day,and Mary poppins wind 💨 aka let’s go fly a 🪁 kite . Debs does Vannes life😮 This is beautiful and very spacious and i doubt that you would get the feeling of it being overcrowded. Even the narrower lanes look comfortable to walk through and has a nice French feel to it . Good video Debs and very interesting 👍

Very nice everything! Small Boat marina, the cobbled streets, which give a medieval air, the pastries and the delicious croissants, the shops with an old-fashioned air, the gorgeous church, the walls of the fortress, and the statue of the horseman. Very pleasant walk! 💖

Yay a Debs instalment! And it really does sound that with every instalment you become more fluent! ♥️ Torquays doppelgänger! Looks so clean everywhere. Nice walking group you have tagged onto! Yay free parking, a channel plus! Love the look of the shops and restaurants. Wow, the Victorian French era pictures look amazing. Yes let’s have the names of places in big letters is always attractive. Never mind that croissant holiday weight, thats what holidays are for ❤ the tudor looking buildings are truly stunning. This part of France looks stunning. All those old Tudor looking buildings with their overhangs. Beautiful. Once again the blue sky & warm weather had me longing for some nicer weather than we've been having recently. I think the cat ignored you as it couldn't understand English. Lol The harbour bit did look similar to Torquay with all the posh boats. The beauty of Valles makes some of our cities look like dumps on comparison. Loved the big letters spelling out Valles on the grass. If you walk the path from Holcombe to Teignmouth by the sea there's a similar sign saying Teignmouth. It must of been put there for the people on the trains. 😊
That sign i was there other day,far away i thought it was a couple white tents,i got a meal at a hotel near there.Love the cat comment made me laugh.All these videos are from october last year got 6 more left,then hopefully can start filming again.trying do dashcam and action 4 i was sent,gave to daughter as got headache from it.Agee i do love alot french towns ,but for me i am a nervous cyclist ,the roads and the french are so courteous and kind,plus the roads are clean and pothole free,just got a dog trailer for my bike.mega hug debs xx

Ah Vannes - we used to go on holiday here as kids. Love the town. I love all the old narrow streets. That bakery was lush! Croissants and Baguettes are the food of gods! Keep at them! This was a real trip down memory lane. Cheers for sharing 🍻

Hi Debs! What a wonderful location! The harbour was so picturesque (yes, I would love to own one of those fabulous yachts too!), and the historical town was very attractive. The architecture was gorgeous. Oh my, I'm craving a croissant from one of those French patisseries now! 😋 The shops looked so quaint and inviting. Strangely, there were no Chinese restaurants, I wonder why? I loved the large letters with the town's name - they looked really effective. The church was beautiful and I enjoyed your exploration of the back streets and around the park area. Vannes is now on my bucket list! Brilliant video, Debs! I really enjoyed it. All these are from last year,i made the mistake let my daughter look after my channel for abit loads shorts😱,what makes me laugh she goes mummy can i borrow that doggy clip,she put it on her channel got 7.1k,then she put same clip i got 300 sods law lol.Just gone through 2k unopened you tube emails,alot reviews,but only going do 3,but gave daughter to help as gave me headache.never be back to what i used to be like,but hopefully can try start filming again this year.sorry waffling.mega hug to 2 nicest ladys on the tube,and proud call my friends debs xx

Big hug cara,one reasons i very rarely comment now,is i do mini essays only for them to vanish,after a while it got me down.i comment on your lay lines and marden i loved them both.And they vanished,i done a long comment to watto's new one,iif you look at my last video it is full of backups to people.Every one who helped me with my dads cancer walk,has a friend for life in me,the rest so called friends i have deleted.Not back yet everything is from last year,phils still ill,he was taken off blood pressure pills after 16 years,2 months ago he collapsed and yep they made a mistake and his back on stronger pills.my daughter has been helping me while im away alot=loadsss shorts on my channel .mega hug cara your one the few i call my friend debs xx

Love the forest at the start,so green and lush,one these days i work out how to do maps.dod not know this was the site of 12 iron cauldrons.Love the look of the church,i so love old buildings,alot more better than whats out these days.King alfred to give it all to the church,proberly thought he get better place in heaven.i spend ages looking at graves and finding out about people.same here train station gone,and just come back from north devon and the same there,used have a railway station,sadly they are slowly vanishing not many left now.big hug cara and have a lovely weekend debs xx 💎 💎 xx this is a back up as so many vanish, i only have time now for the people that had a heart and helped me with my charity,the rest so called friends i have deleted,as i find so many are in it for what they can get.You will always have a friend in me, and if theres no comment check here,for some reason anythiing i put on my channel,does not vanish deb xx
