I put the 241 on my 200 last summer and love it after having the death wing wash out with me several times on highway. It easier to pull over in curve now and doesn’t dance every where on gravel dirt roads highly recommend

Luckily I never had it wash out on me while I was on the highway, it always felt pretty good! But, I did notice in the dirt and on gravel there were some areas I wasn't very happy with it. I'm stoked to see how this is going to work out!

241 treat pattern is very much like a typical 'trials bike' where you'd expect you'll need good grip in all sorts of terrain.

@@MOBStreet83 I’m sure it will be a huge improvement over the stock tire, even though my cheap ass got my money’s worth out of that one. I logged most of my miles on the TW on pavement and well-maintained gravel roads. I’ve done a fair amount of off-roading on more traditional dirt bikes, in the past, but the TW200 has been largely a commuter and grocery getter since I purchased it new in 2014. It’s been sitting under a bed sheet in the garage for the last five years or so but that’s going to change this year.
My parents bought a camp, way up in the Great North Woods of Maine, about 2 years ago. There are hundreds of miles of ATV trails, accessible from the end of our driveway. They run right to the Canadian border. It’s mostly hard-scrabble rock piles and loose gravel mixed with some huge granite boulders and shelf for rock-hopping. (No sand dunes though.) I’ve explored some of it with my dad’s Kawasaki Mule but it seems like perfect terrain for the TW200. Thanks for the recommendations on tire pressure! I think I’ll put the TeeDub in the back of my Tacoma and haul it up there this summer.
Thanks for checking out my channel, BTW! I’ve subscribed to your channel myself. I’m glad to have found a channel with so much TW200-specific content. I’ve been working my way through a bunch of your videos over the last 24 hours.
It’s interesting how many people who love the TW also enjoy the shooting sports. When I was riding the bike almost daily, I’d take it to my gun club and I was constantly running into other TW200 enthusiasts there.

Maybe, when I get this CZcams thing to be my full-time job I will see if I can make it over there. There are a lot of folks here in Utah who use the TW for the shooting sports. Lots of my family and friends use it for hunting and have been happy with what it does for them and where it can take them.

I hope you were OK at 0:41. I think the front washed out because the rider weight was on it. By shifting your weight back, closer to the rear axel, you'd unload the front and get over that rough patch more easily. Also, carrying more speed (momentum) would propel you over obstacles better :-) As always, impressive scenery! Thanks for the video.

The front could do with beads for on road driving as the balance is a bit out, I especially feel it when cornering.

    Hey Matt,
I ordered the SR241 to replace the "death wing". I'm going to run the stock TW34 on the rear. Can you comment on how it handles on the pavement i.e. wet conditions, grip, vibration, etc? I'm going to be using my Tdub for 70% street, 30% off-road for the foreseeable future. The majority of my riding will be well below 50mph. I'll mainly be commuting around town on a mix of smooth and rough paved street. My commute to off-road riding will be around 10 miles on pavement.
I was really torn between the SR241/TW34 set up and getting the Bridgestone TW203/TW204. A lot of people in the forums said the TW203/TW204 set up was really solid for pavement and longer highway commutes, but it sacrificed off road capabilities and was less reliable/predictable in loose dirt and gravel. I think I made a good choice, but there's not much I can find about a predominate street riding experience with the SR241.

I ride the road with it all the time and my wife prefers that setup over my K180's on my other TW. I prefer it as well and it is a great all around setup. I think you made the right choice by choosing that tire.

They are heavier than the stock tire but one thing that helps is the tire pressure. Hey Michael, good question! In the manual it says that carrying capacity is just under 400lbs. That being said, I've had my bike pretty close if not over that quite a few times and I haven't had any issues. So, to your question, I don't have an exact answer. I apologize!

I have rode 2up on my Honda Grom a couple of times it can do it but, it doesn't like it. It's really a liability issue and what I'm willing to accept for myself and a pillion. I understand your answer and appreciate you getting back to me. Thank you,
      Michael

You know, I am not sure! There are only a few options out there for the rear tire, unless you go with an ATV tire. I don't recommend it simply because they are two different tire designs. But, I think the next one I want to try is the Dunlop K180!
