Exol already knew even when exo wasn't openly saying this thing. SM is so used to neglect exo that it doesn't even find it an issue now.

I think Suho has finally reached a point where it's beyond ridiculous how the group is treated that he feels he needs to do something. SM pushes groups aside inorder to debut more and more groups and the truth is they already have too many groups which they neglect, they are more for quantity than quality. This is why I respect Suho so much as a leader because he isn't going to take shit no matter how introuble he may get he knows his members and group deserve better and won't stand for such mistreatment for any longer.

It really doesn't make any sense. All the seniors helped build SM but EXO made it what is now. Even Key said, so. They manage to find the most wonderful and talented kids in the world but their managing is just horrible. Such a shame. They do not deserve this.
I finally found a bias in Bangtan Key said it helped build a new office, SM has a lot of buildings. He also pointed out that one song from SHINee built new elevators.
They have too many mouths to feed. From a business stand point having 20+ people in NCT was a bad idea. The company is losing money.

@lilac Nah, they need to leave and make their own company and sue SM for the brand of EXO and other intellectual rights. Do you know what happened to their recent album sales. SM cancelled SJ 9th album sales so they couldn't chart well at all, even though they have their own label. This does not mean at all that they have freedom but only a few. This is why EXO needs to leave and sue them. EXO are only the group that can actually win this kind of lawsuit because they have true EXOLs behind them.

@@euthanasiatbest ikr. As a KPOP fan for almost 15 years, I can proudly say the old BB and GB have so much impact for KPOP industry. TVXQ, SJ, SNSD, BIG BANG, etc really made KPOP popular worldwide and their songs are legendary. There are also SHINEE, EXO, APINK, SISTAR, B2ST, FT island, and many more. It's so unique and catchy that we will always know and sing along. No offense though, I like the new ones too. But the old ones are irreplaceable.

So sad that they're doing to EXO what they've been doing to Super Junior. When SuJu had paved way for the K-wave to be recognized around the world, and helped establish SM more as a worthy label, it feels like after they've earned money from the boys, they've started not caring at all.
SuJu has also suffered for no longer being prioritized because of newer groups. And it feels like it's happening to EXO. Super Junior's reduction in numbers, and how EXO has lesser numbers now, it's just so sad.
SuJu suffered a lot and I'm hoping it won't happen to EXO. Those two groups have such great potential. They are legends but I guess SM doesn't really know how to treat their artists well in the long run

From what I've learned from my Marketing lessons, I think SM is using the BCG approach???
SM treats all its artists as products. Once they are established and successful, they will put less investments on them, and uses the mass profits they produced from these successful groups to support other junior groups that are growing. In this case, EXO is their "established product", and NCT is their "new product". EXO is treated exactly as the cash cow of the company.
I saw some say SM is trying to pull EXO down but I believe that's not the case. They don't hate EXO. *They put less money on them because they know even if they do so, EXO will still generate returns as they have one of the biggest and loyal fandom supporting them.* They are good at business but they don't give enough respect to their senior artists not only EXO but also SNSD, BoA (from what I know). Plus, they overestimated their plans on NCT and underestimated the power of EXO and EXO-L. EXO can definitely achieve more or make more histories if they continue to invest heavily on them like how bighit invests on BTS...((don't @ me, I'm not comparing the groups, I'm just comparing how the companies treat their artists)) Honestly, the only thing I like about SM is its music production.
P.s. this is just my opinion, and I'm not clear about the case of SJ (i heard that elfs had bought some SM stocks) & TVXQ!

I stop reading after "once they are established and successful", exo had a 1 year hiatus after their debut. In chanyeol newest loeymentary video he said he don't have any work at all after debut, he just sit at their dorm playing games. I bet all of my money this is the same case with other exo members too.
ALSO, after their first album sold 1 million what did SM do? Give them a freaking mini album and call it a day.their 2nd full album was in 2015. EXO has always had 1 main comeback per year. They are being mistreated period
@@demonlords3600 I didn't say they were being well treated tho. Like I said, SM treated them like products. If they treated them well then Kris, Luhan, Tao wouldn't left. After the first album sold, they had a comeback which was Overdose, and they also had their first tour. And of course it's hard for EXO to make comeback again between Overdose and Call Me Baby era, because that was the time when the two members decided to leave.

Ever since Exo made it big and gained a stable & large fandom, SM didn’t bother investing much in them anymore, cause they know Exo will yield profits anyway. But considering how much Exo brings in for SM, and their unexplored potential, SM should really be doing more for them.
The reason why BTS is HUGE is because their label kept investing in them and giving them regular comebacks even tho they’re already popular, which only contributes to their soaring popularity.
Exo’s been too quiet these days in the areas of comebacks and local promotions, which is what really gets the word out for them, not only to the local audience, but also to an international audience. SM had better get their shit right ASAP!

EXO for almost a full decade sat on that throne for so long while scandals cashed in the scene at the front row of KPOP industry with three members filing lawsuits, award show, dating and marriage scandals.
SM started investing on rookie groups who have longer contracts instead of focusing on their senior and most successful groups which would've extremely clever if it weren't for their senior groups’ success; one of which is EXO.
They probably saw it as EXO's contract was soon to end, they need to push in another groups to continue on the company, but, for example NCT didn't got as much recognition as EXO did four years after their debut, which isn't fairly doing well for them now.
EXO-Ls aren't teenage kids with their phones anymore, they got jobs, money and power to support EXO and this constant support made EXO sit on the throne since Growl Era despite extremely lacking promotion from SM since 2017.

Actually this is something that I’ve noticed with JYP as well. These companies are trying to make as much money as possible quickly in the most ridiculous ways ever. Trying to debut a lot of groups and neglecting groups when they reach at the peak of their fame. If EXO would’ve been treated fairly and properly invested in they would by now be having concerts all over the world with the right promotion. This is exactly what kills a groups urge to make more music.
Exo are great and I completely support them in every way but SM needs to learn from their mistakes and give this group what they deserve.
