These are fantastic performances with great recorded sound. The best of any I’ve heard, and I’ve heard a lot. I appreciate it that van Zweden observes the repeats. They are there for a reason, and it can be heard here.

That theme at 30:46 that returns later brings me tears of pure joy! Then Brahms stirs it up and adds excitement just before the brass choir near the end of the movement that raises me to the clouds.
