my 6.5 ft fraser is drinking over a pint a day. its by an open window away from any heat sources in a room kept at 70F (21 C) things just so thirsty! i got it a week ago and its still sticky and soft to touch the needles are still all on it and they dont pull off! You really gotta water fraser firs a lot. I giving mine 2 pints per day!

Any tips on what to do?
Right when I got home I cut 1 inch off but after 3 days it didn't drink.
I then took off another 3 inches off the bottom and put it in water within 5 minutes of cutting it but the tree is not drinking any noticeable amount of water in the last 24 hours..

In my opinion if you want to buy a good tree you need to buy an oversize tree and cut it down to size. So if you want a big thick 7 foot tree buy a 8 to 9 foot and cut it down to size. Plus I make a reef from the limbs

ok so I dont have a base that holds water, and i already put up my tree with decoration and all. we have 9 days till the holy night- what can i do to keep it up as best as possible given that i already made 2 of these mistakes?

    • @DasZuckerhaus

note the base it came with is a standard wooden cross what allows no space unterneath for a water bucket or anything

Dang those bases look tiny, what the heck 🤔😱

    •  Před 4 lety

yea, my base is at least 3 times that size

The yelling is annoying! Your base is terrible, it holds hardly any water!!!

Betty Smith you’re an angry elf 🧝‍♀️

@@Skatetoday14 not angry at all, but the biggest reason for a dried out tree is lack of water and letting the water run dry, which causes the tree to sap over. Common sense isn't so common!
