    Detachable clippers are a MUST if you’ve been in the game for a long time and work in busy shop you know what I’m talking about. Fast, clean cutting, and taking down bulk quick without bogging down, and you don’t have to take multiple passes over the hair, I take down bulk with my detachables and fade with my adjustable clippers. Best method for efficiency and speed, (in my opinion) . Barbers nowadays don’t understand how to use detachable blades or fade in and out of the lengths. Invest the money learn the craft. Detachable blades are a staple of barbering and have been for a long time for a reason.

      @Seancutshair  Před 3 lety

      Gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. No need for them in my opinion. If you’re old school with a vacuum then it’s the only way to go.

      @@Seancutshair Depends on your clientele. If you work in a country with thick hair you absolutely need a power clipper to clear bulk and even the seniors don't make a clean cut. I use my Panasonic which is 10.000 RPM to do this as detachables aren't sold in Europe except for the Supra ZR which are too expensive (~400€)

    ive been behind the chair for 30 years & i agree with the assessment that quality tools DO make a difference... but quality doesnt haveta mean selling a kidney to get a decent tool... if u buy quality, & not hype, & take proper care of ur investment, ur tools will last & MAKE u money instead of just COSTING u money... ive invested in my craft with my time, tools, & continued training, & while ive got a good supply of "new" tools, the "old" stuff in my arsenal are all still firing on 8 cylinders because i bought quality & took care of them, weather it be a pair of precisely crafted shears out of quality steel, or a sturdy well built set of clippers or trimmers... i come from a family tradition of barbers & we would all tell anybody that will listen to do ur research, u invest in quality, & not the "hype", & take proper care of ur tools & they will serve u for years to come!
    (& 1 more thing- buy Good Shoes! ...take care of ur feet, cause trust me, after 30+ years i dont wear my vans behind the chair anymore, buy quality shoes to!) ...always enjoy ur videos man, thanx

They absolutely do make a difference: precision, time, confort and finishing they are different and they no doubt are totally worth it because they will literally last you a lifetime.
