Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. I’m 50 and my wife 44 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income.

Even a credit union has bills to pay and they do that via interest and fees. But right after all that is paid any money earned goes back to their members.
Can I used My Credit Union 1 Visa Debit Card from across the country and go to another state to use the Co-Op ATM.

Yes. They offer all the same services. Debit cards, credit cards, checkings, savings, auto loans, mortgages, etc. It’s basically the same thing but banks are greedy for money and credit unions are not.

I love my credit union.
I love my Credit Union! I use to belong, to a larger chain bank, it was awful for many different reasons. I can get in and out in 5 minutes, I always have access to my money with the ATM's and they know my name, since it isn't a large bank. Just to name a few, their interest rates, for home and auto loans are much better than the big banks too !

Well, would you really fully 100% trust any major bank? We must not forget what happened during the 2008-9 financial collapse. Not to mention how recently, Wells Fargo is being slammed for creating false accounts without letting their customers know. Also, Deutsche Bank admitted, along with other banks, that they were rigging the price of gold, earlier this year.
There *is* a clear bias toward credit unions, but the facts speak for themselves. Banks are for profit. They play with your money trying to generate more for their shareholders. Credit unions serve their members first and foremost.
No, the facts are really just that ridiculous. There’s almost no reason to use a bank instead of a credit union.
Credit Union is the best way to go
At a credit union in Thunder Bay On an individual handed a girl $8,000.00 cash to deposit. She took the money and went to the back room and then came back a couple minutes later and said $200.00 is missing. That money was counted about two hundred times before the deposit. She stole the $200.00 or robbed the customer.

There was a credit unions in florida and it got robbed
my credit union screwed up my mortgage loan, fudged the paperwork, misplaced payments, among numerous other things. Paid my mortgage every single month but they orchestrated all of our payments to make it look as if I never paid even though I have copies of checks to them which they cashed for all payments & now they're trying to foreclose on me. they're not much different than regular banks, if they screw up they'll try to cover their ass no matter what.

Banks just want your money. Credit unions actually care about you (to a degree) and only take what they need.

I've got my current accounts with banks and one building society. Unfortunately, that's the only building society offering current accounts. There is one more, but it's only limited to certain region and only for local people. Same with credit unions. If they were offering current accounts, I would open a new one, but they don't. I think there is some in London, that also offers current accounts, but again, only for local people.
I just discovered my bank, US Bank, is backing the DAPL. So I'm considering leaving US Bank. They usually avoid the scams and crimes of the other banks.
