You aren’t going to ever pay what you paid before 2020 again, regardless of who is in office. Companies are bringing manufacturing back to North America from China and will pay more for labor. That addition cost will be passed on to all of us.
Inflation is the _rate of rise in prices of goods,_ not the price. And it _is_ impressively low.
But the prices didn't come down with the elimination of supply chain problems or reduction in production costs so basically, companies are just keeping the extra profits. The president doesn't set those prices regardless of party. The CEOs do.
The question is which party do you want. The one that's friendliest towards the corporations' actions that you're complaining about?

Inflation has reached as high as 9.06% in June 2022 under Joe Biden.
The federal government is currently BORROWING an average of $80,000 a second and they point the finger everywhere else but themselves for their reckless spending.
