Michale Graves, is an American singer and songwriter. He is most well known as the lead singer for the 1990s re-incarnation of the Misfits from 1995 to 2000, leaving briefly in 1998. Graves grew up in Dumont, New Jersey. Wikipedia

I opened for Michael Graves at a show where about 20 ppl showed up and it was hilariously awesome. It was in 2005 and they were awesome, played a bunch of misfits stuff. He was a lot of fun. Wrapped him self in trash bags and tape and put on a great freakin show for like 20 people in a little town in Indiana. Much respect.
Saw him in a similar setup, all acoustic, in 2006 in a coffee shop in Jasper, AL. There were maybe 50 people there. Incredible show.

Such an excellent musician. Wrote some killer rifs and wrote the best Graves era Misfits songs.
Michale is such a great guy, just a down to earth person. He was actually at my house and put on a private show, it was the best show I’ve ever been to. Never thought someone’s music I love so much would be sitting in my living room

I got to meet Michael in 2008 at the Smiling Moose (Pittsburgh Pennsylvania), and he was really cool. We sat and talked about music and playing in bands. Just a really down to earth guy. He hung with the people and wasn't hiding from them like other bands and singers.

I liked Danzig the band, but thought early Misfits was too raw and unproduced, so I never gave them a change. Just this year discovered the Graves era and man, its soo good. Hes a great singer with the perfect energy in his voice.
Love the story on how he got signed. Early TON and Carnivore was amazing punk/metal. What a blast that must have been to sit with Peter Steel and then sing with the Misfits!
I enjoy Eric Blair and his interviews but the editing on them bothers me. it feels like sentences and thoughts were cut. otherwise these are great interviews.
He really resembles Bruce Willis, doesn't he? I think Graves-era Misfits is underrated. No need to compare at all to the GD-era.

Michale in many ways is the most human individual who's ever been involved with "THE MISFITS". If I could only interview one member of the band it would be Mrs. Graves everytime because honestly to me Jerry, Glen and even Doyle to an extent have that whole I'ma ROCKSTAR look at me thingy infused deep into the DNA makeup of all their existences.
For a second when i saw the thumbnail i thought Eric was interviewing John Danaher lol had to take a second glance 🤣🤣

Graves seems like a real down to earth and humble dude. It’s such a shame he has such warped and out of touch views. I’ve never agreed with his conservative views but that’s what makes this country, but the dude went full on white supremacist and is now a proud boy smh. Good thing the original Misfits are back together, which kind of leaves his legacy in the dust. I’m good at separating the artist from the art but it’s kind of hard to blast American Psycho and Famous Monsters nowadays. I guess Graves will enjoy playing dive bars for the rest of his musical career
