Korea has really come out of age in terms of producing extremely high quality drama with tight plot, spectacular backdrop and stylish acting. The cinematography in this series reminds me so much of Bourne Identity trilogy, dramatic camera shakes and scenic augmentation. The OST conveys a strong sense of action and mystery. I particularly enjoyed the lead characters trying so hard to find closures on each other. Splendid pursuit!!!

The fact he didn't made it all the more compelling to watch. (Here is where Korean sense of tragedy is much makes better movies and dramas than the ride-of-into-sunset happy endings of American movies)

El tema, los actores, maravillosos... Pero la pieza maestra de esta producción, fue la pareja de Kim Tae Hee y Lee Byung Hun, son espectaculares, que pareja de actores tan buena, ese amor... Waoooo... Me llevaron al infinito y más allá... Son un sueño... Tienen que hacer otra serie de drama juntos como pareja... Son gloriosos... Felicidades...

Sarang Nos i just finished. talk about being late. yes, i miss them a lot. eventhough they didn't spend a lot of time together as a couple and lover they definitely showed enough faith and belief in each other and held on to that to survive through everything. i miss choi seung hee and kim hyun jun so much. how could they leave CSH out of Iris 2 when her father developed Iris itself and KHJ was murdered by Iris? where could've she have gone to?

It was very sad that the Kim Hun Joon was died at the end of the last season. The Main Actor for Season 2 was also very best. I hope in season 3 to see Lee Byung Hun again.
Whoever thinks Kim Seon Hwa is the killer is half right. Here's the thing people, there's IRIS the drama and IRIS the movie. 2 different world's with the same characters. I don't understand why they didn't that but in the movie, the North Korean guy that worked with Seon Hwa gets killed by her and she joins IRIS where that North Korean guy is also alive. In drama, the IRIS north Korean guy died. Also in Athena, Seon Hwa left to new Zealand and got married with a 6 yr old daughter.
I happen to own the 7 dvd9 boxset retail discs made by taewon entertainment with english subs done by pros of this amazing 1st season series. The entire soundtrack is out of this world but "Destiny love" and the theme song i like the most. The fact that they couldnt find each other until the end is beyond tears and many times they came so close and all for nothing because the scene at the end is beyond tears. Hollywood should be taking lessons from SK when it comes to high quality tv shows and i'm not just talking about IRIS but the industry as a whole. Alas, all they can do are remakes and almost all of them suck. I'm surprised Hollywood didnt do a remake of this great tv show, it most certainly would have been a shitty one. Good thing they didnt.
@cld9731 I'm so glad someone else thinks Hyun-Jun belonged with Sun-Hwa! I was beginning to think I was the only one. Sueng-Hee's actions, in my opinion, were very suspicious.

I think the ending was like that because Lee Byung Hun had previous commitments and therefore couldn't be a cast member in Iris 2. :)
