- The women's compound team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Aditi Gopichand Swami, and Parneet Kaur clinched India's first-ever gold medal in the World Archery Championships. India defeated top seeds Mexico (235-229) to win the historic gold.

Those who are following World University Games 2023, they will know that India has performed superbly in archery and shooting. India won 11 golds, 5 Silver and 9 Bronze till now, out of which 21 medals, including all the 11 Gold medals, came in shooting and archery. 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Only archery and shooting won't enough. In all other remaining sports they got only 3 medals.

@@dr.bikrampanda9795 I am talking we need to be in top3 but your are talking about top15. With 1.4 billion we need perform good in everything.
It will take time bro. And realistically speaking, India can never finish in top 3 because we don't perform well in those events which carry the most gold medals, for example swimming. For me India getting into Top 15 is a great achievement. We can't reach the highest level with just one leap.
