      @@fixinitawesome bro .... so useful ! Bro I will do the replacement for my sonata 013 2.0T also. Do you recon these will fit? Also, did the bulbs over heat and blow out in you or still running steady? I was wondering if making small holes in the cap with a drill would help the fans with heat dissipation .... since the heat would just be locked in due to the caps? Or maybe hiles would cause condensatiin in the lights ?? Not sure. Any suggestions?

      @@fixinitbro whats the price .... can you please share the direct link please so I can buy them. Also are these LEDs legal to use instead of halogens bulbs in USA? thanks bro

    • @fixinit
      @fixinit  Před rokem +1

      Yes the H7 bulb will fit.
      No overheating. Just leave the caps off if you are worried about overheating. If you get condensation put them back on.
      The link is in the video description and yes they are legal.

    I did an upgrade on my 2013 sonata. High beams awesome. Low beams on the projector side not so good.

      @SHARKY480ARIZONA I'm having issues with my right brake light I have bulbs mainly and I got a new light housing harness because mine was melted out and now the brake light bulb does wanna stay seated. There is a recall on these cars though for brake lights

    I'm really hesitant now when it comes to getting more LED bulbs for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata because the last ones I got flickered all the time. They was the Auxito Bulbs. Do the Lasfit bulbs flicker? I noticed it had a box with the wiring. Thanks.

    Really great video. Question for you. How does the LED bulb cool itself with the weather seal cover in place. No place for hot air to be vented.

    • @henrythompson1892
      @henrythompson1892 Před 8 měsíci +1

      It won’t. The hot air will accumulate in the bulb housing and burn out the light. You can get an aftermarket dust cover online, that way the air can be vented through and keep your LED bulb nice and cool

      It’s been almost a year and bulbs are still working fine with the covers on. If you are worried, just drill a few holes on the dust cap. Free

    You can't cool something with the same recycled hot air there has to be a way to vent the hot air and bring in the cool air.

    Very useful videos. Thank you for that. I have problem with the key fob. Actually that problem just started to happen. When I want to open the doors with the key fob it doesn't react. I need to press the button over and over again for it is to open. That's why I open the doors manually. But when I want to lock the doors it works. So I don't think it is a battery problem. Also I used the spare key fob same thing with that too. Do you have any idea why it makes that problem? Can it be something with the fuses?

    • @fixinit
      @fixinit  Před rokem

      If all the other buttons work, the problem is a bad unlock button. You will need a new key fob which will have to be programmed to your car. Key fobs are cheap and looks like you can program yourself on some models.

      @@fixinit Thanks for the answer. Actually none of them work in the first time when I want to unlock the car. After I manually unlock the doors, the alarm starts beeping and when I put the key fob to the place where you start the engine it all works fine. After I drive when I lock the doors again it works. Just in the first place when I want to unlock the doors it doesn't work.

    I have the same car, and purchased the same LS series lights from Lasfit, the bulb will not fit fully into the ring because of the retainer clip that holds the trim ring in place. The bulb literally hits the retainer clip on the top and bottom because it sticks out further than the ring does, so i cant get the bulb in far enough to twist to lock it in, how is it that no one else has had this issue? Its pretty straight forward, but the retainer clip makes it so you can't seat the bulb. Wtf?? Please help, how does yours not hit the bulb?

    • @fixinit
      @fixinit  Před rokem

      Try bending that clip so it lays flatter. Hopefully that helps.

    • @diesel50011
      @diesel50011 Před rokem

      @@fixinit I tried that, the problem then is that the flatter I push the clip, the further it extends up and then it won't clip into the catch at the top, I don't know how else to get these lights to fit, unless I can find some lower profile type of clip or something, I may just be returning the bulbs unless Lasfit has some advice. Not even sure why these clips are a thing, it's just an awful design, twist n lock would've been just fine...but you didn't have any clearance issues getting yours in??

    • @fixinit
      @fixinit  Před rokem

      I agree, not a great design. They are not the easiest to install but I didn’t have the problem you are having. Try returning them and buying AUXITO bulbs. I have them on my Honda. Maybe they’ll fit better.

    So what if you broke the little metal clip that holds the bulb in place tight is there any other adapter socket to replace them? So it can lock in place. Because I have been browsing on youtube for a way to fix it or if I would be able to find any kind of adapter clip I've looked at these, "A ABSOPRO H7 LED Headlight Bulb Holder Adapter Socket Base Holders Clip", "HUIQIAODS H7 LED Headlight Bulb Retainer Adapter Base Holder Socket," and "Ligdeun. auto H7 Adapter Holders H7 Retainers Click Socket Base." But I don't know, because I don't want to replace a whole head headlight only for a high beam clip. But if anyone sees this and has any suggestions please let me know t would really help.

    • @fixinit
      @fixinit  Před rokem +3

      I have seen some universal clips in Amazon that you can probably make work. Or try going to a junk yard and pull the clip off a Sonata with a broken headlight.

    • @Monica111960
      @Monica111960 Před rokem +1

      I have been driving around for several weeks without the clips. Not because I broke them, but because I was not able to make them click in place with the LED bulbs. The metal part of the LED bulb fits perfectly, as it has a tab and I don't think it can go anywhere considering that there is also the plastic cap. Are those clips really necessary?
