    Another great show you guys. We can't use power snares but great to see and learn anyway. Thanks for sharing with us and it is appreciated. Later and all the best.

    Snares are not allowed in my area, but always interesting to see how other Trappers get it done. Great show!

    How long are the snares? Total length before you start to put start to put the hardware on. Good show l purchased two of these power snares for yotes last year excited to try them

    I might make the switch to power rams I use free hanging snares right now I know halfords sells power rams for like 34 bucks a piece

  • @gregorymcguire8332
    @gregorymcguire8332 Před 4 lety

    Do you have those rams wired at all so they don't get dragged off? Or the coyote dies so fast you don't need anything?

    I heard you mention shoulder mites. Can you explain? We get a lot of coyotes with the hair all rubbed off on their shoulders and didn’t know why.

    • @TrappingIncTV
      @TrappingIncTV  Před 5 lety

      That shoulder damage is caused by domestic dog louse also called shoulder mites. They can be terrible when population numbers are high.

      Well we have them here. We thought it was from going under fences around all of our orchards. Fur buyers won’t even look at our fur from here.

    So question how does he tie off his anchor when he’s in brush like that with no big trees to tie off to

    • @TrappingIncTV
      @TrappingIncTV  Před 3 lety +1

      With a killing snare like the power ram it doesn't need to be very big as the deal is done in less than a minute on average.

    I can't actually believe that an animal would just walk along the trail and come to that wire hoop and stick his head in it..... My mind just cannot grasp that

      Ah, gotchya! He keeps 40 baits running but only sets snares on 20 baits at a time. The others he rests or "sleeps" until he rotates the snares back in.

      They have no ability to think or reason. They duck their heads under a dozen barbwire fences a day. This is no different to them.

      @TrappingIncTV  Před 8 lety +1

      Advertisers are how we can afford to do this. Making TV is expensive. No advertisers - no show. If you find it too much then all I can say is I'm sorry and don't watch.
