Definitely explains it lol. If part of the Orion augmentation was to induce a myostatin deficiency (or something of the like) to promote muscle growth (something that would probably be a no brainer), that part of the augmentation would probably be hereditary.
A detail I only noticed in my recent playthrough, during their first fight after forge is knocked to the ground you can see him holding his knife, a really cool bit of foreshadowing. Also loved that he used his arrogance against him to strike him in the neck.

When Halo had actual characters, I mean look at the results, forge, Johnson, both Keyes, noble team, the odst squad, they were all loved and when 343 showed up, we got lame characters like palmer, lasky, that stupid Halo 5 squad with the black guy, and just never had any characters that's likable, even that new pilot from Halo infinite was forgettable
Second Place has to go to Ghost for Halo: Legends, dude sacrificed himself using a Prototype Mech and taking out an entire Covenant Army just to make sure his marines got off planet. He was also labled as M.I.A, something usually done to fallen Spartans

Nope so far the only known arbiters by name that we get to see are Ripa and thel though there were ancient arbiters we don’t know about and there was an animation that showed how the arbiter became a title of dishonor I think that arbiters name was Fel tho I don’t remember 100%
Whats more sad is that his achievement of killing the arbiter isnt heard by anyone besides the crew of the spirit of fire, the war went on without the story of forge, like the unsung hero, hope it gets heard soon after halo wars 2
Sergeant Forge is the most underrated marine in Halo, most people hate him with his endless cheesy lines but I really enjoyed him, especially cause I kinda grew up with Forge. I was a kid when I started playing Halo and still one of my favorites to play in Skirmish.
I heard somewhere that forges daddy was in project Orion, so if that's so, it explains a lot about him physically. Maybe also mentally too, since he never gave up, and always figured out a way to at least break even. I think he was originally going to be a Spartan 2, but his dad killed the kidnap team. I don't remember all the details, but I remember someone's daddy killed the kidnap team, and it was possible because they were an Orion team member.
Another fact about Ripa: he showed more respect to Unggoy than to humanity. Some of his final words were said disparaging the human race. Yet he showed the Grunts mercy at the end of their rebellion.
Dont forget this guy made modified Scorpions as a pet project called Grizzlies and they were scorpions with some dual barrel command and conquer mammoth bullshit going on.
He's the only marine to fight the arbiter and kill him twice and is on a technicality potentially alive due to to his lines in hw2 multiplayer which may not be cannon but still offer interesting input that Ensemble studios played with this idea if they were allowed to make halo wars 2, same with creative assembly and 343. This meaning forge might not be dead, probably being the only marine to survive a supernova as well

Funnily enough, it seems like the part about the SoF conveniently arriving vía slipspace at a hotspot of alien activity to fight another day somehow crawled into the script of Halo Wars 2. They also merged the unused rebel plotline with the Covenant species as the Banished are practically Covenant Insurrection. Cool choices!

He assaulted an LT in a bar, said officer was sexually harassing Forge’s own daughter, and refused to take no for an answer. Forge didn’t regret it but knew he’d be court martialed for hitting a superior officer. Cpt. Cutter was in the same bar that night and saw the whole thing. He pulled strings to get the charges dropped, get the LT court martialed, and offer Forge a post on his ship. Forge agreed.

Not internal ruptures where there is no access point to put the foam. And as I had said. The ruptured organs was only part of the reason he chose to be the one to do it. The Spartans were needed far more than him even if he could be fixed at a later date.

They did have biofoam sealant like when Romeo had his lung collapsed. He stayed behind because they needed someone to manually detonate the core.
