Discovered and fell in love with WT in middle school because the German dub of X 1999 used this as the opening song. An excellent choice, and the band that introduced me to symphonic metal.

This song is used in the German opening of the anime X/1999. Very fitting and beautiful song.

People, seriously, is there any chorus more beautiful than the one of this song? It's the deepest one I have ever heard. WT is not my favorite band, but this song talks to my soul, it's hard to describe with words.
Odd, I've always found the chorus of this track the weakest point of the song. It doesn't really carry any emotional weight or buildup for a single, whereas Ice Queen does. I guess people experience music differently.

I actually like their new album too. Hydra is interesting, more experimental. Sure that doesnt fit everyones taste, but it is great though.

Within Temptation really needs to go back to these days. The style was so much better in their first few albums.
