What is sad is that a lot of people forget that TLC had some classics after Lisa passed. Of course, she will be missed and the music they made can't be duplicated. However, I hate to see great music be forgotten and this is a CLASSIC. I feel like some "fans' are punishing T Boz and Chilli (as if losing their friend wasn't enough) by not giving their music a chance now that Lisa is gone.

My two cents on this matter is that as a fan of TLC there’s not a single song that they performed that I didn’t like. These girls had a chemistry that was beyond full explanation. Their vocal ability, their beauty, their dress, their blend of musical styles (funk, hip-hop, and R&B), it was a combination that they alone possessed, and it was always amazing to experience. It is difficult to say, but I believe it’s true: the chemistry of the three is simply not there with the two. T-Boz and Chilli are still amazing but it is just not the same. All of the attributes that I listed earlier are important, but what seems to rise to the top is that funk, hip-hop, and R&B (three girl) combination that I believe many fans subconsciously or consciously cannot get past. “TLC” is “Three” and in our minds (many if not most fans) it really can’t be anything else. I will cut to the chase here: I truly think that T-Boz and Chilli were on the right path when they allowed Lil’Mama to perform with the group. I did not see it like Lil’ Mama taking Lisa’s place because no one could possibly do that. But I saw it as “TLC - featuring Lil’ Mama”. It was amazing to me to see that “Three Girl” dynamic restored and I actually believe that Lil’Mama carried the Hip-Hop part of the group sufficiently. She would have needed a great deal more work to fully capture the essence of the Hip-Hop part of the group, but I feel that she, having certain characteristic like Lisa, would have ultimately pulled it off. If Lil’Mama is out for good, I still hope that T-Boz and Chilli will realize that in the mind of most fans, “TLC is THREE and will always BE” and that they really should look to NOT replacing Lisa, but featuring another female that can carry the Hip-Hop part of the group and bring back that Three Girl dynamic that is TLC.
Doesn't even matter if the trillion people in this world wouldn't care for this single, but not me, period. They're my idols although my blood is forever Alternative genre. This song made pure impact to me and no doubt that TLC can rock their songs off. Brilliant. Rip Lisa.

You know, i really miss songs like this. TLC's songs really tell a story, like Unpretty, Waterfalls. Songs nowadays are usually about sex, female body parts, booze, etc etc. I wish award shows would bring back singers who were famous back then (90s please!) and have them perform their songs.

Check out Little Mix. They write most of their own stuff and T-Boz even wrote and collaborated on a song with them. They have great voices and write music you can relate to. Good enough, pretend it' ok, change your life and little me are insperational, beautiful and emotional but what I love most about the band is that even their upbeat songs have clever and well written lyrics.

I remember being so excited while living in South Korea back in '03 to see a new TLC video on Channel V and Nickelodeon's "SoNick". Though it was a little sad at the same time given that Left Eye had been recently killed in a car wreck, it was heartwarming to know they were keeping her spirit alive through the release of their then-new album "3D" (2002). And I always thought the video's leading lady (Justina Machado) was the most beautiful Latina in the planet, shame she's always been underrated as an actress.
I wonder how hard it was to go on with out Lisa. I'm proud of them because I think they are doing what she would have wanted. Lisa, RIP and know that we love and miss you!

To be Honest, this whole album was so criminally underrated. From start to finish this album was solid! Even though some of the raps they used for Lisa were taken from her solo projects, you could never tell, they just flowed so well with the music. 3D is a classic.

the video is about that yes but the song isn't necessarily about a woman being abused, the lyrics are just basically saying about how the woman is "damaged" and that's why she acts like she does....yea there's no comparison between a friend backstabbing you and being abused but doesn't mean it doesn't hurt or screw you up :) there are a lot of ways to end up damaged sadly...

listening to TLC was always so inspiring and therapeutic. from their female empowerment songs like, "no scrub", to their deep songs like, "waterfall" and their "poking fun male bashing" songs like "girl talk", they've become one one of the biggest inspirations in music and some of the best role models for young girls.

Always have to come back to this song to remind me that domestic violence is never ok and the victim is not at fault. Thank you TLC for tackling the topic that no one wants to believe is real. Decades ago I thought it had to be physical abuse, however, decades later I find myself in the same position but this time it’s all emotional abuse. I prefer bruises, at least they fade away. Words can never be erased.

There hasn't been another powerful girl group like this since TLC and the Spice Girls. Today the girls groups are horrible compared to TLC, Spice Girls, Aaliyah, Monica and al the others from the 90's and early 2000's. We need to have another powerful girl group for this generation. Girls really need a positive message broadcasted out to them. The female artists that are young are not as powerful and worth following. If there are any, please feel free to share. I may not have come across a girl group like the ones I have mentioned.
