This was me the other day on my local course. Im ready to go pro
I saw this live and I still couldn't believe my eyes, I was in shock!

It's really, i do it twice every weekend!
I took his score during Austin Open. in the card was Connor O’Reilly too. They where both -8 down going in to hole 18 anyways Jakub was first to throw and he ended up going out of bounds 5 times ended +8 I felt so bad taking that score down, he had a great round before that but that’s golf. He’s a great guy n great putter sometimes we just get in our heads. Me all the times 😅😅😅😅

Seriously. I hate to say it, but I was cringing on every one of those strokes he took. It shows even high-level players have their moments too; but in that situation, regardless of who you are, you just have to suck it up, put your pride aside for a sec, lay it up, stop the bleeding and get your head on straight for the next hole.
@@harrisonh4422 That was the disc golf version of the yips. It's made many a decent traditional golfer give up the damn game.

Same exact miss. Something changed without him knowing and he did not adjust at all.
He makes the last put with the harp, so that disc change probably helped in resetting his putting to get rid of whatever had changed.

Holy crap, someone call 1-1-2, Jakub is having a stroke. (ok a BUNCH of strokes) Honestly, after 2 airballs, you just toss it on the ground near the basket, and HOPE you can make a 4-footer.

I get he’s good and all, but I’ve seen too many moments like this from him.. his mental game needs some serious work
100%. They keep saying he's a great putter, but every time I see him on coverage, he's the weakest putter on the card. Might be nerves being on camera

The yipps
This is the downside of being a really good putter most of the time. You always think you're going to make the next one. On the other hand, as a lousy putter myself, I layup after the first bad airball miss that travels far from the basket. Limits the damage to a 3 putt.

Quite weird honestly how he kept putting at same spot on the right side of the basket. I dont think its nerves, but dont know what to blame, might be many things
I am playing also on quite high level and its not nerves. Its like you have managed to learn the putting game in the last 4 years and then something clicks and nothing works anymore, I MEAN NOTHING. It usually starts with the putting then this feeling of being shit putter goes into your driving and approaching and everything kinda goes off.
What helps is time, you just take 1month off, dont do a single throw. Somehow the muscles restarts and you start making all the great things you did before.

@@SkeletorJenkins he played for par on 18. this was first round and was rated 999, next rounds he got himself together with 1025 and 1026 rated rounds, getting birdie on the same hole in round 3
Damn, crazy how he did the exact same mistake 4 times in a row unable to correct it. During this event in general he has a C1X percentage of 62%, which is basically dead last in the field which is shocking. Just as shocking is his 0% circle 2 putts, which also puts him at last place. While his putting has been awful, his driving on the other hand is top tier which is the only reason he isn't any lower than 18th. Hope Jakub finds his putt soon and be competing for the win.
Yeah, you'd think he'd make an adjustment... I get we all have off days. But he just kept shooting the same shot, like AB on the island hole. Make the adjustments...
