RIP Steve. He was truly one of a kind. We are very grateful to have worked with him, as he had always been a beacon of authenticity for us personally since we were teenagers and it is thanks to his work that we are still a band. Albini wasn’t just an engineer; He knew how to capture the band's essence. As the reels spun, his unique approach was a revelation-a reminder that music isn’t about perfection; it’s about soul. We are certain that his vision continues to light the path for those who will come after, and your rebellious spirit will still challenge the world. Rest in peace, to the greatest who ever did it, and may your memory remain an inspiration for the misfits and all those who seek to defy the conventional.

Best room in the studio IMO. Best than Studio A, which is bigger and with a different room arrangements. But Studio B is perfect four this kind of Drum Sounds!!

Just stumbled over the recent album, while studying all Albini related albums - I picked bands from "touch and go" label band catalog. I gave it a listen without knowing the year of release. I thought it was recorded in the 90s. But it's almost fresh stuff coming out of the amazing electrical audio magic factory! Hope to see you guys soon. Would love to work with Albini also. But it's OK, if I keep dreaming at least ;) cheers from berlin

Here there's an Argentinian band that recorded with Steve Albini. This is the album if you wanna check it out. The band is FUN PEOPLE. Afterwards the singer formed the band BOOM BOOM KID.
