We have finally reached the end of our Camino De Santiago (Camino Frances) and it has been one hell of a journey we've had together. There has been so many highs, but still a few lows of course throughout a walk of 29 days spending 18 hours a day with each other. But we wouldn't change any of it for the world. Getting our marriage started off on the right foot Ba Dum Tsk was exactly what we wanted and exactly what we received from it.
Once again thank you to all who have liked, shared, subscribed, followed along, prayed, sent money or even just sent good vibes. However you have supported us we love, appreciate, and thank you for that support.
Follow along with us as we continue our journey down to Portugal and then onwards to Africa after! And as always, Buen Camino!

Chapeau! Walking to Finisterre and then Muxia is even better than Camino for me, as not many people do it (they take a bus), and it's so peaceful. Final del Camino. And burpees at km 0 at Muxia rock are a must :D but Oporto is a great choice also, blue city, with great sandwiches (little french lady). Enjoy it :D

Aw thank you so much for the kind words! We’re definitely thankful we walked it when we did. Nothing wrong with walking it later in life, we just had the time now 😉 100% going to keep up with all of our newfound lifelong friends!

Well done, I know that you are extremely busy but can you tell me what you used for your camera and editing software? Thanks in advance. We loved following you and my younger brother and I are going to do the same route in September. I am going to film for the local K-8 school as a project for social studies, history, math, science, etc...
That’s incredible! We filmed everything on the GoPro hero 11 and edited on iMovie. Nothing fancy! Good luck on your Camino. Are you posting on CZcams? We’d love to follow along
@@TheRoamingRosses Hi thank you for generous time and answering my question. I will look into both. I am working with several of the teachers to see what they want me to film or take photos of. We are Celebrating 165 Years this academic year and are looking to entice the various grade-levels. The Spanish Teacher is reaching out to establish a sister school in Spain (hopefully, I will be able to drop-in while in country and gift them something from our school). The History/Social Studies Teacher wants some of the Roman Road, architecture, Churches, ruins, Culture, food, etc... Art Teacher - obvious. I've shown them some of your VLOGs and they are inspired and incorporating some ideas into their lesson plans. I will be posting on CZcams and will send the link. A lot to do in preparation but I'm up to the challenge. Thanks again. Mike

Congratulations, you two! I've enjoyed following your journey! I start my Camino in 3 weeks, so I'm looking forward to that. A question.... What was your favorite town and your favorite accommodations on the Camino?
That’s so exciting! Are you doing the Camino Frances? Pamplona is Grace’s favorite city. Burgos is Chris’s favorite city. As far as towns go ponferrada is probably our favorite town. The donativo there is also our favorite albergue. There’s so many other accommodations that are high on our list, but we have no ranking for them. Sorry if that’s not more helpful! 😅

Thanks so much! Hopefully we have motivated and inspired some people to walk it! And no, we thought about walking to Porto but decided against it. We were a little tired of walking 😂 but we haven’t been on a scale in over a year so no idea about the weight. We definitely didn’t gain any that’s for sure! 😂

As I plan my own Camino, I thoroughly enjoyed your journey. What calander day did you start?
Am happy for both of you am planning to do the Camino in 2025 right now am training myself physically … Am planning to go to Paris as my port of entry coming from NYC my question is how can in proceed to St Jean Pied de Ports ? am planning to take the train where will i go to catch the train ? how long is the train ? how much is the fare where will i get off ? Is there a plane from Paris to St Jean Pied de Ports ? Thank you very much
Amazing! We highly recommend training first before going so you are already on the right path. Normally people catch a train from Paris to Bayonne, which is the closest big city to Saint-Jean-pied-de-port and then from Bayonne you’ll catch a bus to the start of the Camino. We can’t remember how much the fare was, but you can buy them online or at the station (we recommend buying ahead of time though). Be wary of transportation strikes as they do happen often, but it’s very manageable if you remain patient and go with the flow 😎

Grace got a couple from walking too much in flip flops, but that’s about it!
