Adam West is in the top 40 of the greatest people alive and that's including musicians, revolutionaries and other actors. I love this guy.
If that modified Lincoln Futura was tough to drive, I wonder what it would feel like driving that Tumbler from the Nolan films...

I always wondered why Batman needed signs on his own equipment, like he didn't know what everything did, or even looked like. But saying it was for the kids sounds like they thought kids were really dumb. I think we had fanboys and girls that were just as obsessive about shows as we are now lol. We could remember what this or that piece of equipment did.
Adam West hated the Batmobile's "aircraft" steering wheel which was used just to look cool. Eventually a full wheel was installed.
I always thought adam West was fictional like the mayor adam west in family guy
