I am a recovering alcoholic, one night I overdid it so bad I went into cardiac arrest 3 times, and the lines of this song cut deep for a million reasons, but when he sings, " maybe it's like falling asleep, maybe it's not so bad.". That's exactly what it was for me. I didn't even know I had died... I thought I was just asleep. But, after all that I had to face my family, the people who watched me collapse and die in front of them, especially my mom, I got to see how me dying affected them, I had never felt so much love and guilt in my life. So, to anyone who doesn't want to be here today, just hold on. Even if it's by a thread, that little piece of thread is something and sometimes that is everything. Give tomorrow a chance. Give yourself a chance. Shit happens, but you are still worth being a part of this world and even if you can't see it, you are wanted, definitely needed, and most definitely loved. ❤
