I really love how during the lead up to the ending choice, even if he doesn’t fully understand what’s going on, Papyrus starts catching on to something just clearly not being right. Even without the backing music seeing Paps go from his usual antics and frustration with his typically jokey brother to simply “…Sans, please say something.”
Such a simple line but it does a fantastic job hammering in the sense of imminent dread on the skeletons end as the player makes their choice. So excited to see more of the game
if i had a nickel for every time an animator named clazic made one of the best one left animations i'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's funny because he peaked twice

6:22 Even though this is just an animation, I really hope a moment like this is in the actual game. It fits SO WELL.
I personally think it’d be more in-character to add papyrus’s lost soul acts and make him give you small baby bones attacks (get it?). Another cool thing i’d like to see is if papyrus is attacked, sans reacts to it. Maybe not by giving a face or anything, but maybe while just simply closing his eyes.
Honestly, this ending just makes much more sense than the original. Props to the animator this was really awesome to watch.
It's amazing how determination experiments and Gaster stuff were all down the drain until phase 3A, and what I like about this stage is that Sans uses everything he has and everything he has left to make a more lasting battle, like in the original, only better. Props to you, Placek, you did such a good job.

Edit: how dare Flowey ruin our one left (awesome seeing the SAVE button being used instead of just the act button, actually makes sense tbh!) Loved seeing Papyrus actually react to where he's at and actually act it out beautifully, and Mr one left was peak as well, fantastic job!

It’s not fully out of nowhere, the determination’s literally raining down on both him and the player after Pap’s soul shatters and you can even see the player’s max HP slowly increase again as it comes down. It’s not too far of a stretch to say some of it fell on and was being passively absorbed by sans

Most that’s really known about ending 3d is just; it’s a fight against both Sans and Papyrus, and Panic Attack (or the special attack song for normal COTV’s phase 2) is the first song that plays in the ending according to May’s progress report
