Congratulations my dear. Nice story. I do not expect you to condemn Theater Arts, your primary department, especially since you still work there in a non-academic capacity. Here is the truth though: The best actors, fashion designers, choreographers and directors in the world today did not study Theater Arts. In fact, a host of them in the United States and around the world never attended any University. Most importantly, the world has moved into the 21st century. Emphases have shifted to technology, Healthcare, and the Sciences. Most notable Universities around the world have redesigned their curricula to align with the changing world. Any degree which adds virtually nothing to skills you could have acquired outside a University is currently worth nothing. Best wishes.
