This model is one of my all time favorites, despite the weaknesses
It’s on my favorites list as well.
Great job, she's beautiful ... Enjoyed the video and the information.. Again, Great job.,👍🇺🇸
you did a great job
Very nice build, That is the same model I built when I was about 12, but mine was molded in Dark Green.
Absolutely beautiful. My twin brother and I built a model every week in the 60s. We got 1 dollar each per week for our allowance. A model car or monster such as Wolfman or Frankenstein was $2. So each Saturday morning we made a trip downtown to buy a model then we set up to assemble it. We always did a GTO, chevelle or hot rod. I wish we had built one of these.
Tout est propre et tout est beau ...Super maquette ...Congrest ...
That series was great
It is a fantastic kit. It was released in the UK in an Airfix branded version of the second release box and Airfix branded instructions. I believe there was also a third release in the US with a red car in the box.
I would dearly love to get one again.
I don't build car kits from this era, but I must say this is very nicely detailed for such an old kit and you did a great job on it!
Beautiful job of this model, loved the info, music and the build. The detailing and accessories turned out perfect
and made such a big difference. Well done. Take care and be well.
Beautiful build. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful job. Nice description of the working parts.
beautiful build , great model

Very nice job on this build!
Turned out nice!
There was also a Lincoln roadster. I built all three back in the day.
Have to get that kit , 😎 cool
this came out awesome
the gangsters turned out great too
The MPC 'Gangbusters' 1932 Chrysler Imperial Eight Convertible Coupe (#926) by Round2 is out now.
I got mine two days ago!
Super nice
For the windshield glass, dip it in futura or another type clear floor wax.
Presto, scratches gone and comes out really clear.
Yeah not so much this one. Had super deep melts and then it cracked. Easy to replace.
that turned out Awesome .
thank you for pointing out different things on how it goes together , that will be a big help to me
I have a early1928 Lincoln ,and a early '27 Lincoln Roadster, a early 1932 Chrysler I mperial
I have a 1996 version of a 1928 Lincoln somebody already painted it but not finished .
on your windshield ,I thought that you could have used the windshield with the bullet holes in it in stead of making a nother one that's just my opinion
The bullet riddled one was also melt damaged. I wanted just the normal glass.
AMT/Ertl last re-issued this kit in 1996 (#6173) and 2004 (#38167).
Richard I Believe Oruligunal Gangbustet series was 3 indivodual boxed Cars thus Lincoln, the Packard & 32 Chrysler Lebaron. A dual box Police Psnel & Coupe blth 32 chevys completed set both had bullrt riddled glass. Firearms in pistols rifles and tommy guns
Walt Ronk cool. I’ll have to research and hunt those down.
Hey Richard, according to "Scalemates" this model was released in 1965
Stephen Tabor yeah I said that at least twice in the video.

Sorry Brother, I should've watched the whole thing before commenting. I've only watched a little so far.
Isn't the ring around the fan supposed to serve only to protect the delicate nature of the piece? It seems it ought not be there on the assembly to the engine. I don't know...it just seems to me that way. Best wishes! Good job, sir, especially in the consolidation of the two kits. Very informative. Va. Cork
Dunno. Lol
Great build! Were both kits "used" on ebay? They didn't still have the shrink wrap did they?
Yes both used from same seller. Not shrink wrapped. A few unimportant accessory pieces missing but was able to make one 100% complete from the two.
Made a complete mess of this. Gutted as was a lovely kit. Now sadly unavailable for the present in the UK. Did notice during build, tho having got the steering mechanism ok, when i glued the brake drums on the tracking (steering geometry) showed a drastic toe out. Also set the chassis just a bit too far forward & the linkage didn't meet the steering wheel
what did you use for lubrication on the steering ?
Roger Wachal
Vaseline
@@Kryptosmaster thanks
I think Round 2 just issued the 2nd car in this series..
Yep

Massive Pile of Crap
Glad to see I'm not the only glutton for punishment. These kits are terrible but , someone's gotta build them. Nice job.👍

Actually this was the best mpc Kit I’ve built. I was impressed with it.
Nothing beats a first run. Original moulds mean no flash. Enjoy it while you can. Be watching. 👍

MPC had several Gangbusters kits, This one and a Chrysler Imperial, the ones I built had options for Windows with or without Bullet holes
Yes, this kit (and the reissues) included bullet-riddled parts.
