Anther great video! And I must say a perfect execution of the "that's what she said"! 🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful video. I really enjoyed the visit to Jefferson Plantation in Charlottesville....the whole trip was wonderful for me. Traveling with my Son is the best for me : safe travel and very interesting places. Congrats.......and I'll see you on the road.......Love....MOM...>>>
Goooooood morning!! Such beautiful footage & we appreciate the history lesson as well. Enjoy your Sunday & happy travels! 👍 😎 ✌ 💘
I'm born and raised in Charlottesville Va, and have been up to this plantation over 5 times throughout my childhood!
It is so nice to see that your mother is able to travel with you. I travelled with my dad when he was in his mid 80's. It really was a nice way to see things thru his eyes.
Hello Robert! My husband I watch and enjoy all of your videos! You have greatly inspired us to get out and see more of this beautiful country! Just one boo boo in this one ... Roanoke is in VA, not NC. Just an oversight, I'm sure! Your mom is beyond adorable! So glad you are able to share your love of adventure with her!
Great expedition, Thomas Jefferson was a will organized man. Glad you and your mom had this chance to do this tour. Priceless 💞
What an Awesome Video, Robert! Seeing Your Sweet & so Lovely Mom, Enjoying The Trip AND With Her Son ..is *PRICELESS* .. I've 3 Adult Boys (Men) and when Any of Them wants to Take me Out, to Spend Quality Time, I Savor & Cherish Every Moment, as we Create Memories! Dios los Bendiga ~Laurie
I love Monticello and have visited many times. I am always inspired and love the history. So glad I found your channel.
It is definitely worth the stop at Natural Bridge, one of the 7 wonders of the world..Amazing!
Wow. Wow that was so beautiful. Each house was unique. Thank you for sharing and exploring. Punkin you are so adorable 🥰. You never know what are you going to find when you explore 🥰
Great tour of Jefferson’s home. What a Magnificent property. Thank you. ❤
Thanks for the video! I was there last October and loved it. It was beautiful. I never realized they devoted so much of the tour about slavery. But I'm glad they didn't try to sweep it under the rug. But it's beautiful in the Fall as well. I'd like to go back and see it in the Spring. It's well worth the @$40 for the tour. You could stay all day and explore the grounds and then walk down to the museum and entrance area
Thank you for taking me on your explorations world wide .You really have fun cooking no Tv for you you are Truly a people person your wife and mother go on your voyages never been so happy to Travel on the road
Beautiful drive. Beautiful sceneries. Beautiful museums. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks Robert. See you in the road. ☺️🤟🏻
Wonderfully done lovely area! Editing & Music 1st class! Thanks for the ride & See You On The Road! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed. HI TO MOM!
I visited this place when I was 13 it was one of my favorite historic sites I ever visited. I also visited his 2nd home at Poplar Forest not nearly as interesting as this one.
bahahahahahah, Me and the wife about fell off the couch when you said "that's what she said", we love watching your videos and do camp a bunch but can't go too far because of still working but one day we will go see a bunch of the places you show us.
Lewis & Clark trail!! I live in the LC Valley!!
Hi Robert! I enjoyed the video very very much. I live in that area. I’ve been to Monticello. Sometimes you forget or take for granted your own area for beauty history and the resources. Thank you for Reminding me. If you’re ever in this area again please let me know. I’ll make sure you have some great food and to go to breweries and wineries in the area. Jim
Thank you Robert, a wonderful episode.
It is so good seeing your mother.
Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia.
Wonderful Robert. Such an opportunity to gaze into the life of Thomas Jefferson. Through your lens and narrative. Thank you Robert. Your grade is 100.
What a great tour Robert!! At these old historic sites you can feel the old ancestors watching over you.... they have kept the ambiance....
Great to see you in my neck of the woods! Hope you enjoyed it!
So good to see you travel with your mom such a sweet lady and love her smiles ☺️Cherish her Robert Moms are the Best! 💕
Loved the video Robert. It goes without saying that your mom's an absolute dear. Take care and happy travels to the two of you.
As always, I enjoyed every minute of the video... excellent, well-timed commentary, original music, fascinating subjects... your love of the country is evident. Thank you for sharing.
Mr. Morales I just love watching your videos. I Been watching for few years now and you inspired me to buy an RV. I have two young boys and me and my wife love it!! I will be singing your song when we go somewhere and my wife just cracks up! So nice you got to take your mom with you what memories y'all can share. And the weather on this video was GREAT! Oh and the traffic and people didn't look to bad on this trip. I can tell from other videos that you like me I don't like all the crowds. But it s hard for me to go in off season because of young kids. Thank you for the videos they relax me especially the music.
What a beautiful tour of Monticello .. and those overlook views are gorgeous ! Fantastic trip
I love the mix of history, nature and food.
Another great video! Thank you Robert!
Really fun to watch. Oh and yes, you're officially my favorite CZcamsr as of late! The way you describe stuff and your humor are the best!
Love when you got to the historical places. Thanks for the great video!
Great episode! Thank you @TravelingRobert! Looking forward to Charleston, SC!
"that's what she said" lol
Such a relaxing one! It made my Sunday! Thanks for sharing these Mr. Robert.
Love the parkway overlook views💙
Va is so beautiful.
I really enjoyed your video. I visited Monticello a few years ago when I got a wild hair and decided to take a daytrip to see Mount Vernon. I was living in Lanacaster PA at the time. After seeing Mount Vernon I decided to keep going and ended up seeing Monticello and Willamsburg all within a few days. I hadnt planned to be gone that long and didnt even pack a toothbrush or change of clothes. Nothing a stop at CVS cant solve.
That was the best trip ever. I loved the history in Monticello and found all of the inventions he had come up really facinating. Its a beautiful location.
Love seeing your mom on this trip with you!!!
I'll never look at a nickel the same way again! FABULOUS TOUR!!
This was awesome and very informative Robert. Thank you once again, and Happy Sunday to you 👋🏻
Thanks for Visiting my home town! It’s truly amazing the history we have here in Charlottesville, Virginia
Fabulous and informative. Great video as usual. thank you!
Beautiful video be safe Robert & MOM love it this video Thank You
I went to school very close to there, so that's some familiar scenery. It brings back memories. Thanks for sharing, Robert! Every time I see an RV on the road, I check to see if by chance it's you!
Mulberry Row is an essential part of the tour, and the Jefferson family acknowledging their blood relative enslaved ancestors began a turn for the entire tourism industry to acknowledge with detail specificity culminating with the recent archelogical digs on Jefferson’s land and James Madisons Montpelier 30-miles to the north. Great video Robert!
My wife & I got to finally got to Monticello a few years ago in the fall, saw all 3 floors, really great visit! We also went over to James Monroe’s Home not far away. We still have a couple of homes to visit in the area. The blue ridge pkwy is such a beautiful drive, love reliving places thru your videos! Thanks!
My neck of the woods near Roanoke- you captured the best footage. I love the zooms!
Btw...those blue & white tiles on the dining room mantel are actual Wedgewood.
nice video, your mom is adorable!
Good morning Traveling Robert🎸🎸🎵🎵🍔🍔🍟🍟🍕🍕, I have been to Monticello and really enjoyed it. I absolutely love the Blue Ridge Parkway and I know exactly where that decent is along Highway 77. Robert, this was an OUTSTANDING video👍👍👍👍👍! I'm looking forward to the next video of Charleston,SC, another beautiful city that I have visited.
perfect timing
Love your videos. Greetings from Belgium.
Such a great way to begin this new week, as always. BTW, Tampa Aerial Media quoted your "Goooooooood morning," in his latest video, which is on Greater Myrtle Beach. Safe travels out there.
Good day Robert ! Really enjoy viewing your travels. I know you wonder about the gas stations where hired ‘we’ are not allowed to pump our own gas. In the case of Oregon, it happened as a way to add jobs. It has been very successful in that regard.
Look forward to seeing your next video. Happy travels
I guess this is the "official" kick off to the Lewis & Clark road trip? Very cool! I got a chuckle out of your numismatic comment: "the U.S, five-cent coin, also known as a nickle." 😄 I visited Monticello about 20 years ago, back when you could park up on top of the hill (and it was way less crowded). Actually the most memorable part of that day was eating at the histotic Michie Tavern just down the road. Recent reviews of the Tavern aren't too great, but it was a fun, delicious and very filling experience when I went.
Really looking forward to following along with your adventures on the rest of the trip. Happy trails!
Thank you for sharing Robert
Blue ridge parkway offers amazing views.
The golf cart parade was very cool
Jefferson definitely liked to 🍻. 😂
great job
Great video!
Is nice to see Thomas Jefferson in your videos for the first time
You should have stopped at Mickie tavern for lunch! Sooo good!
Robert, Fyi Yard's Brewing in Phila makes a T. Jefferson recipe beer (and a Washington and I think Franklin too), its strong ale with some hops, not sure how authentic, or representative of beer of the day it is. Jefferson's Golden Ale - Yards Brewing Co. It is not that hard to find in the Philly area.
Much greetings from Switzerland...... its 3 PM (Timezone MEZ) and its Robert Time :-). Tom
He doesn't mention that Tsar Alexander I & Napoleon were direct opponents - & the Tsar won when Nap had to Retreat from Moscow in 1812. That's why Jeffers had them paired.
Nice Robert 😃
16:20 They should get rid of that tree in the middle of the pathway.
🌞I visually learn "old and new" american history, as i vicariously travel with you, robert.👍🏼Thanks for the interesting and informatve narratives; as "we" investigate the well known and unknown "land and sea scapes". ☀️Plus, discovering any "hidden" pearls along the way are extra bonuses. 🌬peace out!🕊🖖🏽
Monticello was amazing. Enjoying the history and seeing your Mom enjoying the journey.
CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz owns a winery too.
No IPA’s but he did make some Four Lokos though.
Robert when are you going to visted the Traverse City, Michigan area and see Sleeping Bear Dunes!
Which episode was it where you made Picadillo? Has become a fave with us! Can't remember where to go back and find it...
Natural Bridge I think.
8:34 That's what she said.....Lol!!!!
Jefferson is one of my favorite presidents! And Washington of course!
Next time you're in this area...you need to head up to Schuyler, VA and visit the REAL Walton's Mountain.
I've always wanted to visit Monticello, did so when I was too young to remember. You're out the winoow camera skills when towing are super; every time I try to do it, it looks terrible.
I livei in Charlottesville
Hey Robert!! How r ya? When is ur next trip to yosemite? I want to go!😁😁😆
Via CZcams of course..lol
See any IPA’s down there
Hi Robert, did you make it to Charlottesville at all?
We didn't
"That's what she said".
There is a Roanoke NC?
Roanoke Rapids is not anywhere near the BRP.
Good morning. Just wondering how you were allowed to take pictures in the house. We were not allowed to.
Everybody was taking pictures... maybe they changed policy
I'm interested in history..
Are you coming to Montana this year?
Yes we are
More than welcome to stop by here Flathead Lake. We are on the west side of the lake. We have land you camp on if you are coming up to Glacier National Park
@@MountainLivingMT I'll be in touch. Thanks!
Monticello looks so tiny.
That place is evil lol just kidding they say it’s haunted , beautiful place though
👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Things when presented out of context seem strange. "normal" for you is the same 'normal' everyday life for caveman.
THAT IS YOUR MENTALITY.. In Reality, there were no roads in USA.. NONE in 1850. Guess why? No cars.
You had walking trails, horse trails, traveler trails. And by law you had to grow your own food to live in America.
They gave you a "plantation" or plot of land to work and grow your food, at least. Until 1871, now nobody has land except Uncle Sam, you work on his plantation.
