I found this method some time ago because it is difficult to get light balsa wood (density #5 & #6) in my country, so I had to reduce the weight of the the model little by little in many parts to get the weight of the Tip Launch Glider model as I expected.
Please try and hopefully it's useful
Before : 4.52 grams
After : 5.84 grams
