The product is insanly good with the patent. Basically the big color companies can make the color more Slick and pay them a royalty to make commercials that its rodent safe. I see this a 100 million dollar idea.

Lory would have accepted a counter. She see the potential. She really really wanted it and you saw how happy she was that no shark got in. Licensing the patent can make easy a hundred million dollar. The money is in the patent. She can licence to a bed store and they can sell bedbugrepellend beds. Or she can license to companies that produce the color for the bases of houses....

@@mrhumble2937 I'll just say they are trying to sell a product and a lot of the deals don't close out due to the company lying about costs and other small elements. Mark Cuban mentions this in an interview. It's quite easy to deduce that rats and bugs will find cracks in the house to get in, and that this alone will not stop them; so the sharks want to argue that point and see what the response is.
Yeah they don't know everything. That's why I think that Mark's 'business-wise' comment is much more useful than Robert's view on the product.
It’s relative to other options. Much less likely that a scorpion is going to make it through a later of pesticide than a slippery brick

I thought it was actually cool. Its like a plexiglass, but in liquid form. They didn't mention spiders though. Remember spiders can climb anything. But I see how it can work for the actual pests that most people hate. Rats and roaches.
But in places that have scorpions and roaches, this is essential. I can see the product working for spider. I’ll deal with some flies and a spider here and there. But to not have ants, scorpions, or roaches: I’m sold.

100k for 15% was fair, at the point theyre in it's basically a start up. only their services had revenue, not the product. 5mil valuation with no sales on the product side was steep.
How long does it last and have to be repainted? Many insects are able to fly including roaches and ants, and also work on the wood?
It does work on wood. The ants in my area don't fly and neither do the roaches. Even if an insect can "fly", it will fly higher up the surface that has been coated with slick barrier and won't be able to attach itself and just fall to the ground.

Completely disagree. Lori played them hard. Lori was only paid $100K for the 15% equity, as the the other $400K was a loan that will have to be paid back with interest (probably about $480K total assuming a 10% rate on a 2 yr note). Effectively she got her equity at a $667K valuation, compared to the $5M that they pitched at.
@@anivnayar Lori didn't play them that bad. IF the product really does work, then she'll essentially guarantee that they'll be successful as they can be. She can connect them with the nation in ways they couldn't before.

Wait a second, the question about why not just using plexiglass was dodged no? I have been dealing with this problem for a while now and came to a conclusion the only way, is with these paint/spray products and google avoided telling me which material is anti bug climbing and the answer was sitting here the whole time. 💀

Quick fact check for anyone that cares. The Arizona Bark Scorpion is NOT one of the most venomous scorpions in the world. In the USA yes, but in the world, not even remotely close.
I’m in pest control and Robert is right they will come in there are too many holes and cracks but this would be good for bats and wood peckers

Looks like Sony has finally fixed the Audio issues.
It's louder but the audio seems to have been compressed before being uploaded to CZcams so the audio sounds like a low quality mp3.
The only issue that i can see with this product is , is it paintable? If not theb it has to be removed to be painted. Eveb rapint when the base paint fades.

She didn’t have to, she got 15% for only $100,000. With a $400,000 loan, that with interest could be close to $500,000 (depending on how long they take to pay it off).
She got 15% for a about a $666,000 evaluation. They came in asking for $500,000 for 10%, a $5,000,000 evaluation. They stated they previously took investment with a $3 million evaluation.
She undercut their evaluation by so much, they didn’t even get to think about it, because Robert jumped in and said “it’s only 5% more..” but it wasn’t just 5% was it?
Lori got 15% of the company and will make her $400,000 back plus interest for only $100,000. A safer and better deal for her.
But if $400k is a loan with todays interest rates that they'll have to pay back in 2 years, then they actually gave away 15% for $100k, not $500k.
But you get a shark 😅
