Ma'am in nallaswamy under classification of palatal throat form ,house classification is written as class 1 indicates large and normal form with an immovable band of tissues 5-12 mm distal to line drawn across the distal edge of tuberosities .....in ur lecture this classification is written under soft palate ..can u please tell me the difference .

Hi 🌻 The angular relationship of soft palate is called as palatal throat form. In some text it is quoted as soft palatal form.

ma'am does the positioning of occlusal rim create some difference in ridge relation after jaw relation?

Hi! 🌻 By Positioning of occlusal rim you mean orientation, so this will affect the occlusal plane. Ridge relation will be affected by horizontal relation of upper and lower rims.
