Pile 3: I had a visceral reaction to hearing that I could be the fixer of peoples arguments. Growing up in a dysfunctional household I always wanted to be able to fix my family but I could not. It was not for me to fix then as a child. In my adult life I have run into folks who have shown the same dynamics over and over again. It feels inescapable. I've tried to learn to NOT be the fixer. To just be OK with other people as they are. I've gotten better about not taking it personally but gosh does it still get in the way of even being able to be around these people. I've thought often of just cutting ties. Some with friends, some with family. I have to remind myself that I am not a child anymore. That other adults will take me more seriously when I speak up. And that I can speak up and if they do not listen then I can choose to move on in peace. I don't -need- these people to be fixed. But it would be nice if I could lend some perspective to their situations that would help. I had actually just reached out a few days ago to a friend to talk to her about her situation after a rather tense holiday party. So this message is a really encouraging confirmation for me. Oh there's always so many synchronicities of words not just The readings but everything and I have to note the timestamp on the beginning of reading number three 🤯🥰 I'm always amazed 🙏 I'll share one or two interesting synchronicities so the bear card my high school's mascot is the bear in the picture looks very similar to that card Also the part of Tennessee I grew up in are known as the cedarglades and I live near a state park named Cedars of Lebanon because Lebanon is the biggest city in the county and obviously the biblical references of Cedars of Lebanon likely had something to do with it.
