When I was watching the musical, I had some lobster beforehand, and it wasn’t cooked, so I got food poisoning during this song. So, I had to leave. While I was exiting, this lady had a giant, metal, pink water bottle in the middle of the walkway, and I accidentally kicked it because it was hidden in shadow and it went *CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG* all the way down during one of the saddest songs in the entire musical. Just imagine: “I told you not to come outside-“ *CLANG CLANG-* “-but you saw that truck-“ *CLANG CLANG* “-and you smiled so wide.” *CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG*
I quickly apologized to the person who had the water bottle and fled the scene.
I was tremendously embarrassed. 😩
This made me laugh so much 😂😂 I would die from embarrassment

I was assigned to sing this as part of a musical revue at my college. I have never cried real tears while performing in front of anybody but halfway through my first time singing this in a rehearsal, I lost it

I can't. My fragile heart can't take to singing this song in public. So I'll just sing hoarsely in the lonesomeness of my room, just belting out this wonderful piece of a piano accompaniment. Amazing!
Tara I hear you. Such a powerful song, especially if you can relate with the child or the mom! This is exactly why I share these accompaniments - to give people the chance to experience music in ways they wouldn’t have otherwise! Keep singing.
My lifegoal at the moment is recording this without bursting in tears in the middle of the song... If I ever get that far there may even be an upload of it xD

dammit this song is absolutely perfect for my voice all except for that high note on "a million different ways" :((((( Oh well, guess ill just keep dreaming
amelia cool try placing it in your mixed voice. Brighten the tone and resonate a bit through your nose, so it's not in your chest but not in your head. I'm not a teacher, but this help me place these notes in my range. Vocalize with the twang nyaaaa sounds through those notes first and see if that helps.
I'm doing the song for my grade 8 mt exam and I also can't sing that particular section. My singing teacher has changed the notes I sing on so I sing million on the same note as 'different ways'
the only parts i cant do are the lower notes- everything else i can do i SWeaR

I used this for my audition and I messed up at one of the high notes and I was going faster than the music and the drama teacher really seemed like she liked my audition but I don't think I did good. I'm so scared I really want to go to districts with the drama troupe! At least if she doesn't choose me then she says she wants to have me for at least one category so if I don't get the third solo my friend is most likely going to get it. The teacher even mentioned her when talking about the spots left for the solo (yes she mentioned another person who I'm going against for the final spot right after I had auditioned yikes!) Its a good thing I'm not so competitive that I would be jealous. I would be so happy for her! She did a song from Waitress and she was amazing. Its been like half an hour and I'm still freaking out!!!

Riley Moyer around 0:12 or 0:13. You know how it repeats the same sound twice? When it goes to repeat it a third time start singing. Hope this could help!
