- Stationed at the Rebel hideout of Echo Base, you have been assigned to patrol the snowy (but beautiful!) mountains and fields surroundings the base. Fortunately the Empire has not yet found the Rebels, so it should make for a fairly quiet and peaceful day for you to enjoy the completely white landscape. The environment is still treacherous though - you might hear a wampa or two, and be sure to not get caught outside for too long after dark!
This video features six beautiful scenes of Hoth's frozen landscape, accompanied by music from a variety of Star Wars video games. Scenes rotate every hour for a full three hours - enjoy!

Seems to be a thin green bar in the top of the video. Other than that looks fantastic. W11 Chrome
Thank you for the feedback - not sure what could be causing that. I just checked both the video file and the upload on youtube and neither has a green bar. Would appear to be a local issue, but not sure if that would be Chrome, a plug-in, or something else.

This is the Star Wars ambience video I have been looking for, but haven't found until now. Very nicely done! The music is somehow eerie and ominous, but also soothing. Just like the Hoth landscape.

been waiting on a good hoth ambience for years, this one is it... i hate to nit pick although when watching on a tv screen the aspect ration is very small, i would appreciate it so so much if you could possibly reupload. with the AR taking up the whole screen. im sorry to be a pain but it would mean alot to me. :)
First - thank you for the compliment...glad you like the video. This ultrawide format is a bit of an experiment, so I'm just collecting data on how people watch these videos and what they think of this format. I do think it suits certain videos well (like this one with big open landscapes), but I'm not settled on anything and can change/reupload in the future depending on feedback. If you are watching on a TV, does the video look the same as if you are watching a dvd/bluray movie with letterboxing on the top and bottom?
